    Experienced Data Scientist with masters in AI here: all this video shows that gravity AI appears to be easy to use. The question is, will you actually make any money? The model shown is super basic and doesn't appear to be doing any errors/fault checks etc, and most probably people that know what such a model is for and how to use it can probably make the model themselves. Surely, there is money to be made with good models, but it is all about the context it can be used in. E.g. Google's Search Engine makes billions, but that is because people know Google and use it for everything. Deploying it on your own local machine will likely lose you money instead.

      agreed. You would have to have unique training data that make your model not easy to reproduce. Also have never heard of this company before so not assuming a lot of people actually use the service. Also I myself would not feel that comfortable relying on a model I have not validated myself and use it in my job

    Thank you for the tutorial. Two points:
    1- one always needs to be careful with the training data. Unless you scrape it yourself there's usually some strings attached on using it for commercial purposes.
    2- you seemed to have tested your model on the same training data. Maybe I'm wrong or missed something. But if that's true the results will be wrong. You need a test set apart from your training set.

    • @aniakubow
      @aniakubow  2 ปีที่แล้ว +62

      That is a great question. So there is the training_data.csv for the training, and the test_set.csv for the last bit. The the test_set.csv has got some of the same data, but not all. We are using the test_set.csv to check the code we wrote works to get the results we expect from the training data. (It would be weird if we trained our AI to categorize a specifc article to 'Politics', and then we wrote the code, and the result we get for the same article is 'Finance' right? ) Now that we see it does work, feel free to test the Model on your own random data too! :)

      @@aniakubow instead of manually splitting your data into training and test files, it tends to be more beneficial to keep one set of data (a.k.a, training data) and use something like Scitkit-Learn's "train_test_split" to obtain your training/testing subsets. This is particularly beneficial when you don't have large amounts of data to work with, as can be expected in the real world. At the least it saves you the hassle of manually splitting what data you do have, and further gives you utility to control how biased your data subsets will be; something that's difficult to control when manually splitting your data.
      Scikit-Learn does a generally good job of coming up with accurate models given default params, but you really should use some sort of cross validation and/or hyperparameter tuning on your model to ensure it's as accurate as it can be, especially as a product you're selling to someone else. The Random Forest Classifier itself has many hyperparams you can tune, so it would make sense to do so using something like GridSearchCV (also in sklearn) to sharpen the baseline model sklearn gives you. That is more of an advanced concept that could be out of the scope of this tutorial, I'll give you that, but you could have at least mentioned there is more that can (and should be) done to your model than just simply making one and feeding it data.

      @@Money-talking In the academy most of the professional work is related to reserching other researchs, publish and keep on researching, some of that goes into other areas, such as finances, Biology, Engineering, etc... So it's VERY important for publishers and readers to TAG theirs, and being able to trace what other TAGGED. Professionally you would use SCOPUS or another such tool. In my opinion this is a great example, as the strategy could grow to include other attribs, so you could go on and write an AI to categorize market behaviors, and return a list of the occurrance of certain fenomena. (I'm sure i made a few mistakes, excs me 4 that). THANX A LOT TEACHER

    Whew! I thought I woke up in the FUTURE for a moment here.
    My quick interpretation of this video’s TITLE was that the design & development of a physical A.I. model* was now possible (e.g., Cherry 2000, a 1980s-era film).
    I thought, “How have I missed this news, to the point where peeps are making YT vids about it already?”
    Seconds into the video (longer than I would like to admit), I realized you meant a virtual DATA model. Lol, my bad. 😆
    Cool content though. ⌨️🖥👍🏼

      Parse only? This guy might be right you could do it with that. Maybe Perl or awk or sed etc. If you want to do analysis like in the video probably python. It just has substantial support for AI models. Other languages do too, but it would be difficult to argue against python for smaller projects.

    Lol just for the record, if thousands & thousands of people watch videos like this & make variations of the same basic AI tools to sell, they sure af aren’t going to be selling for $500-10,000/month for long. A massive boost in supply flooding the market will drive the price down until their exchange value is basically nothing.
