A meaningless comparison, Dimash was born in the home of lyrical singer parents, he has been singing lyrically since he was 3 years old, he graduated in lyrical singing at the best singing school in Asia. Gabriel Henrique, on the other hand, is a self-taught singer, coming from a simple and poor family, he never studied singing, the singing method he uses was created by himself, he learned to sing listening to American Divas, thanks to his father.

Give Gabriel more time, they are at very different levels, Dimash is already doing world tours, he has been studying since he was a child. It's not fair to compare. For me Gabriel is spectacular, but Dimash is a complete artist. Furthermore, there is nothing written in tastes.

I've been following Gabriel for more than 10 years. He sings in church every weekend. He learned on his own, then had some accompaniment and support. I'm sorry but Dimash reminds me of André Matos (Heavy Metal) a great singer.... Studio singer.... That even sounds disrespectful....Now, our "Friend" SEB has compared Strawberries with Oranges... O Dimash tem um alcance vocal maior, mas não sinto emoção alguma,
parece um robô e nao tem o timbre de voz bonita, serve mais para cantar opera e músicas para animes.
Já o Gabriel tem a voz com o timbre muito bonito, agradavel.

Comparing two singers just on your ear ability of hearing and emotional response is not serious, IMO. Where you hear metalic notes, I hear a perfectly placed classic voice and it sounds beautifully to me. Your ear vs. my ear, so that doesn't work. A highly experienced teacher or vocal coach can tell the difference and explain exactly what's what. If you are that teacher or coach, than help us comprehend why you hear what you hear. It is your channel and arguably you can do or say whatever you feel like, but that's not helpful. Success to both artists, they don't need to be compared to evolve, hard work, love and respect for their talent and public is a good start. Not to mention that Dimash is already an accomplished artist of a rare type, who never stops to seek and learn.

I agree with you. Both are vocal powerhouses with amazing techniques. Dimash's voice is like a powerful machine, functioning flawlessly, and it leans more towards the operatic. Gabriel's voice is equally potent but carries a soulful and warmer quality. Both are masters in their respective styles. Personally, I also prefer listening to Gabriel, but I can't claim he is superior to Dimash because both deliver incredible performances, each with its unique color and style. It's reminiscent of the movie Black Swan; Dimash embodies the white swan with technical perfection, while Gabriel introduces elements of the black swan through his improvisations, adding depth to his artistry.

I was not familiar with Gabriel Enrique before watching this "comparison" and I am impressed with him. But I don't think you can call it a comparison when the first thing you said was that you don't like Dimash because he has operatic training. Sorry, there is no reason for me to compare this two singers with this snippets of so different songs. Btw when you say Dimash sounds cold and not soulful then you didn't hear very much of him (Ikanaide, Sinful Passion, Amanat, Love Is Like A Dream. Love Of Tired Swans, The Story Of One Sky).
In this video it's like comparing apples to pears, they're both healthy and sweet but I prefer pears. It's matter of taste.

Eu prefiro Gabriel, pois além de ter uma técnica absurda, ele põe a alma em suas interpretações, além de soar moderno, fresh, pop...já Dimash, apesar dos recursos tbm incríveis, me sia frio e robótico, parece uma inteligência artificial cantando, sem falar que o jeito empostado dele cantar, sinto que ficará datado com o tempo, não combina com músicas populares, eu não consigo ouvir uma música pop cantada por ele, me soa estranho, deveria ter investido em ser um cantor de ópera, portanto, prefiro Gabriel, ele me impressiona e me toca muito mais.

Com certeza não tem como comparar esses dois, são estilos totalmente diferentes. Dimash é lírico, Gabriel no pop então não tem o mesmo seguimento. A única coisa que da pra dizer que são dois montro da música, e talvez do mesmo planeta.
Dimash nao é só lírico, é tbm pop, e mescla o clássico com o contemporâneo com genialidade mestra, tem dominio e transita fácil por todos os registros vocais e estilos musicais, é um artista de versatilidade única e está num nível muito superior, incomparável.

Já parou para observar a respiração do Dimash qd canta ou emite som? Não é à toa que hj vem sendo considerado pela crítica musical como o melhor vocalista do mundo, sem desmerecer o talento de tantos outros artistas, como o talentoso Gabriel Henrique. O timbre do Dimash tbm é muito bonito, diferenciado, não se tem registro de outro cantor com o timbre ao menos parecido com o dele, se só ouvimos sua voz, mesmo com algum canto ainda desconhecido, já o identificamos de pronto, diferentemente de muitos outros cantores que tem timbres, modos e estilos de cantar muito semelhantes. Dimash tem 6 oitavas e meia, chegando a 7 oitavas em alguns cantos, e isso é raríssimos, não havendo registro atual de nenhum outro cantor vivo. Enfim, gosto músical cada um tem o seu, afinidades com determinados estilos é muito pessoal, mas há de se reconhecer fatos, e contra esses não há argumentos.
No quesito pessoal, Dimash se mantém carismático, simples, discreto, educado, estudioso e com extremo senso de responsabilidade profissional.

I am not going to finish this video. Sorry, no disrespect. It is a polarizing topic at the moment. They are both outstanding technical singers, they both can deliver emotion but in different ways. For me it isn’t just the voices or the technical ability, it is the way the entire performance makes me feel. So for me personally that will be Gabriel. I also enjoy Dimash but not in the same way as I do Gabriel. And there isn’t anything wrong about that, it is just a preference thing. I think they BOTH belong on big stages all across the world and there is space enough for them both. T ✌🏻

I mean Dimash thecnically is better and very impressive but sometimes it´s a little too much for me, I totally agree with you, that most of the times he has a metalic/operatic (almost shouty sound) while Gabriel voice is freer, warmer and sometimes smarter in all the switches he makes for every song, I can hear him all day

En algunas cosas comparto lo que dices, Dimash cuando pasa a su voz media y trata de meter cuerpo a esa voz , tiene fallas técnicas bien apreciables, bien notorias y de ello te das cuenta, no es una buena técnica, ya que trata de usar resonancia de voz lírica, oséa de voz proyectada, pero está estancado en ese proceso de desarrollar esa voz lírica oséa el instrumento completo. Luego desarrollar su voz de cabeza y así tendría su instrumento vocal terminado , ahí sería una técnica perfecta.
A diferencia de Gabriel Dimash ya estuvo descubriendo todos esos resonadores que se usan en la voz clásica o lírica o como llamas tu de ópera, Gabriel no conoce de ello él tiene una voz con un excelente desarrollo pero para la música popular por ello es que no proyecta el sonido, usa la voz de pico , esa colocación aunada a todo su registro hace que se sienta que tuviera más control de su voz , pero a diferencia de Dimash , Gabriel no conoce como desarrollar en amplitud todo su instrumento vocal desconoce una serie de resonadores que se utilizan para proyectar la voz como en el canto lírico, clásico u operístico o como le llames.

Asi es, la voz o la manera de cantar de gabriel la eh escuchado en muchos cantantes de gospel, a excepción del registro de silbido que pocos hombres pueden llegar a desarrollar, en cambio de Dimash es una voz inusual
eu entendo um pouco diferente ele estudou sim, estudou fora de escolas ele não canta opera !, música se pode aprender em vários lugares, crescendo e ouvindo com seu pai que pode ser músico, veja os videos na internet em igrejas, programas do raul gil em estudios, e em sua casa quer melhor jeito de se aprender ! abraço
Dimash per tutta la vita, ha studiato tutta la vita e migliora sempre, Gabriel non lo conosco ma l ho sentito non mi entusiasta particolarmente, ha solo voce alta vorrei sentirle nelle note basse. Dimash è completo. Per me non c è nessun altro in grado di cantare come lui per ora è un Angelo caduto dal cielo per alleviare i nostri momenti brutti, non ditemi che non siete d'accordo con me.. Henrique sarà anche bravo ma Dimash è 100 per 100.
