One of the best songs ever written by one of the very best song writers ever, and sung here in one of the best music videos ever recorded. This song is magnificent. Very complicated technically and musically. The harmonies are exquisite, perfect. A very sad thing that Barry is the only one still living. The likes of these musical geniuses will never be seen or heard ever again.

I couldn't agree with you any more on this absolute beauty of a song , this song will always remind me of my dad,from a child hearing him sing it in his scrap van , he was a double of barry Gibb and also his name was barry too he had the beard , the hair but unfortunately not the voice haha , 16vyrs since he passed away . My mom transitioned on December 30, 2024, 😢 So I asked God to please let me know if she’s ok. As I was scrolling on TikTok, a man was pointing up and this song came on and on that video, I saw October 24, 1978. My mom’s birthday is October 24, 1933. Even the words from the song was written out because the guy who posted the video said that he never knew the words to the song. To me this was a sign from God to let me know that she made it to heaven.❤

I was 18 when this song came out. What a masterpiece. And oh, the Bee Gees, unparalleled in lyric writing, composition, and singing. As the world lost Maurice and Robin (and Andy), I can't help but look at those proficient musicians in the orchestra, either young in age or middle aged at the time. It's been 43 years. I'm sure many of them have also finished their time on this earth. Their contribution to this beautiful recording is also appreciated.

I always play bee gees songs whenever I'm drinking with my grandma. As of now my grandma is 75 years old, still working 8 hours a day and can drink few cans of beers and stay completely healthy. bee gees are her favorite band trio, because of her i learned to appreciate old songs.
I'm really proud of my grandma.
The reason why my grandma still working is because she doesn't want to stop, we've been telling her to retire already for years but she told us working is her main exercise and the main reason why she's still strong and healthy.

Apparently there were 27 different vocal tracks layered together in this song. The overall tonal quality and the "tremolo" effect sounds very much like Barry's voice, so I imagine that he formed the majority of the final mix.
I actually sing this to my grandchildren which quite amuses them especially as I'm 58 years old and used to sing it in secondary school.😂😂

The Bee Gees were my father’s favorite group. He recently passed & today I was feeling his spirit. I began to play some of The Bee Gees greatest hits & just thought of him the entire time. I cried a little because I miss him.
These songs are also special to me because back in the 70’s when the term daddy daughter day didn’t exist, my father took me on our very 1st daddy daughter day to see the movie, Saturday Night Fever & of course we know the soundtrack was filled with non other than -The Bee Gees music.

I used to be too cool for the Bee Gees when I was younger listening to the likes of Black Sabbath and Pink Floyd. I had 3 older siblings that listened to KHJ 99. I find as I get older the Bee Gees resonate more and more. Nobody gets too much heaven couldn't be truer.

I’ve just been with my mum in a hospice in her final days. I played the Bee Gee’s, The Beatles, ABBA, Roy Orbison & Simon & Garfunkel non stop to hopefully remind her of her younger days. This song has stuck with me now.
How very sorry I am for this happening. The music you list is what to do. I sang "Darktown Strutters Ball" to my mom as she requested in hospice. It was the right thing to do.

I first heard Stayin Alive and Night Fever when I was 10 when I was on a cruise at a "70s night" dance . immediately fell in love with the bee gees have been a top 5 artist ever since. I'm 23 now. For me, there's a magic and sentimentality in older music (70s and before) that I feel has been lost somewhere along the way... music like the Bee Gees makes you feel at home, regardless of your age or background. timeless
