thanks for the video, very educational. When I was a kid was always fascinated by Sagat SF II stage. I knew that these places had to have existed in real life.
Hard Times aka The Streetfighter (1975) staring Charles Bronson was a big inspiration for SFII esthetically with ideal back-drops for Ken (a boat w/ cheering crowd), and Zangief (a caged warehouse w/ cheering crowd) - the backgrounds for modern fighting games can be distracting, but not difficult enough to admire all the details ...I'm still playing Hyper SFII on the CPS2 ^___^
Being the son of a marine I have traveled to most of these places and let me just say that these places are on a different level and are beautiful as anything I have seen in the US.
I was love this game long time ago during that I was son and I still love it even today my favorite character is ryu and ken but akuma its more interesting
As a brazilian I can say for sure that we don't really feel represented by a green monster guy and by a stage in the middle of the jungle, but it kinda grew in our hearts after all these years. Even Yoshinori Ono apologized about this in one of the many times he came to brazil to attend some events, and Blanka is his favorite character, so I think we all good lol
I'm working on travelling to all countries related to each Street fighter 2 character. Up to date I have been to Vega, Ryu, E Honda, Ken or Guile, but not Balrog. I still need Sagat, Bison, Chun Li, Dhalsim, Blanka, and Zangief. I really love the reclining Buddha, makes me believe he loves to watch a fight.
It's really fuzzy on Ken or Guile. I have been to two Air Force bases one in the USA and the other in Okinawa. But I didn't see any F16s at Lackland in San Antonio but I did at Kadena in Okinawa. Oh the Irony. As for Ken I have been to the beach in the United States with some form of boats nearby but I don't know where Ken is based out of in the US, neither do I know where Guile is based out of either. Balrog is pretty specific so there is no confusion there.
@@rolandocastaneda4429 I would think Ken is from the West Coast of the United States. I think it's Seattle Washington. I think that's where he was introduced in the Street Fighter Animated Movie.
Over the street fighter series design on the characters and stages were better than the Mortal combat series in that many of the Mortal combat characters were too much alike in my opinion.
I have a question for you the girl that talk with soft voice. Who is your favorite character in streetfighter? I like Ryu, but akuma is more interesting character. Take care miss👋
I genuinely wish this channel great success, God Bless!
Thank you soo much we appreciate it

Apologized? Wow, freakin' weak.
@@Jahn_Pah_Jonz why? He didn't removed the character or anything. They made Sean in SF3 as a more proper brazilian character afterwards.
I was born in Balrog’s stage!
Was in Nara park a few years ago. And there was a gateway leading into a courtyard. It looked identical to the Retsu stage from Street Fighter 1.

Hi Donarenko!
My favorite character of SF is Juri Han because she reflects a personality that resonates closely to mine.
Cheers!
