Fantasic! I found this in looking for Reverend Moss, III commencement speech at my graduation from Augusta State University in 2001. It was so good. It has to be somewhere 😢😢😢
I was so looking forward to this service and what a powerful charge that bridges the gap of two generations by Drs Moss Jnr and The Third. Surely Morehouse Matters and may all God's men and women keep climbing. Benjamin Elijah Mays words carry eternal weight when he said "Every man and woman is born into the world to do something unique and if he or she does not do it, it will never be done". Congratulations class of 2017, keep climbing
The joint baccalaureate address offered by Rev. Dr. Otis Moss Jr. and Rev. Dr. Otis Moss III was both prophetic and prolific. I could so relate to the tears of pride that cascaded down the face of the elder Moss, as it reminded me of the loving gaze with which I look upon my own beloved daughter (who watched the ceremony with me). It was a joy to watch both mighty men of God speak blessings over the class of 2017. #MorehouseMatters Perhaps as much now as it ever has. Congratulations to the Class of 2017! You can and will change the world for the better. Again, Kudos to my fellow LaGrange, GA native and his beloved son.
A word by two outstanding generals of social justice and change!
Morehouse Matters! Brilliant word brothers
