- Last Tango In Paris is the theme of the Italian romantic drama film directed by Bernardo Bertolucci which portrays a recent American widower who takes up an anonymous sexual relationship with a young, soon-to-be-married Parisian woman. It stars Marlon Brando, Maria Schneider and Jean-Pierre Léaud.

ricordo benissimo quando il film uscì...e tutto lo scalpore che ci fù per alcune memorabili scene che furono censurate e poi ripristinate..!!!...secondo mè è stato uno dei più bei films che girarono all'epoca..grazie amico mio per questo bellissimo ricordo.....ti abbraccio...piero

I heard this as a boy in the Seventies on one of my father’s vinyl LPs and loved the searing strings and “compressed” piano (which, to me, sounds a bit like the piano in “I Close My Eyes & Count To Ten” by Dusty Springfield) and still do!

this is a classic romance song it has atmosphere , feeling , and emotion . The lyrical version is good too but if you're going to listen check out the andy williams version , it's the best
