First major negative is that soft rubber they have on the controllers. It feels good now, but in a few years its going to deteriorate and turn into this sticky substance that ruins the whole thing. I can't believe some companies are still using that soft rubber coating on their controllers.
@@RobertCatiller67, that’s for sure! Evercade is FAR from perfect, but WAY better than MyArcade. Unfortunately this device made Data East look horrible…which sucks, because I absolutely love Data East. That name is the only thing that caught my attention to want to buy it. It definitely wasn’t because it said “MyArcade” 😂😂😂
I feel like 90% of the “random, makeshift, cheap, game collection knock off consoles” are usually trash. The games are usually average to below average, and the quality of the console or handheld usually leaves much to be desired.
The Retro-bit Super Retrocade is a much better deal with over 90 games from Capcom, Data East, Technos, and Irem. The included controllers are really poor quality but you can pretty much use any USB controllers with it. There's occasional slow-down with only the most taxing arcade games but still playable and you can usually pick it up for around £35 GBP :-) Keep up the awesome work!
Some of the slow down on Super Retrocsde can be made better such as R-Type. Have one play and the next go will be way smoother. Doesn't work with Double Dragon tho.
@@GameFreak1976 yes dude, I was too young to care as a kid getting it on the NES but recently I got the red box data east collection on Evercade and was disappointed by the choppiness and lag, now I realize I need to order the blue box Arcade data east collection so I can play co-op properly with my kiddo.
Cow Poke, you hit the Bullseye with that one! 😆 Thanks for sharing, just a shame it's a bunch of NES hacks and cracks that are badly emulated. I would be tempted to dump the box on the path in some neighbourhood, sit in your car far enough away so your not seen and enjoy the moment so random walks off with it. 😂😂😂
Great video
@@BURRITO44, Thanks brother!🤘🤘🤘

@@EDFCentral, I can definitely see that happening. Must be a cheap way to manufacture or something.
What’s the name of the song playing in the background during the unboxing and play through? Thank you
@@peanutmansemporiumofrandom7472, it’s just part of the included soundtrack in the IMovie app. I’m not even sure if it has a name lol
Wireless & Joyless....😂 I love this video, reminds me of why I like Evercade / Blaze! (They're not perfect, but they're not My Arcade!) - Game On! 🤘🤘

For $20 I might give it to the kids to have a little beater console. But for even a penny more I'd just make one myself.
