- After visiting Browns training camp, I explored some of Berea, OH, especially the downtown area and a little bit of Baldwin Wallace University and Coe Lake. Filmed on August 20, 2024.
Love your videos, keep up the good work.
Your videos are one of my greatest grounding {feeling normal} therapies ---
I had no idea that Cleveland was surrounded by so many Gems like Berea, -
Thank You! 4 that Poko ...
Thx for sharing this waterfront gem in Berea. As others have said, it was very relaxing. While I no longer reside in Ohio, I continue to thoroughly enjoy your Cleveland area videos. Keep up the wonderful work!
I love going through coe lake whenever I get the free time. I usually do take the 86, but ever since some of the new schedule changes for the buses, they made the 86 and 3 other routes now run every 30 minutes Monday - Friday daytime only. And because of that the 86 has been running late almost every day since then (Aug 4th). The other routes that they made every 30 minutes are the 16,50,71,and 86. But anyway great video!
I really enjoy your videos and I can understand how anyone would be nostalgic about Cleveland's charming suburbs. When I first moved there with my cousin, who lived in Olmsted Falls, I fell in love with the specialty and antique shops. I seem to remember a video you made of this village that was fascinating. You always do such an excellent job.
25:00 Coe Lake is one of several lakes in the Berea area. Nearby are Wallace Lake, Lake Isaac and Beyer's Pond, all of which are part of the Cleveland Metroparks. I used to ride my bike from my apartment in Strongsville to Berea on the paved trails. My favorite part of Berea was the Metroparks!
Next time you're in the area, you may be interested in Hickcox Park, not too far down Bagley Rd. When I was younger, my friends and I would tromp through that area(wooded back then) and some swore there were hidden graves back there. I could never find them and doubted their existence, since there's a legitimate cemetery close by.
When the land was developed in early 00s, the tombstones were unearthed.
Berea Flea Market on the weekends can be cool as well.
Great Video
