I know. How many Mardi Gras parades and band battles have they been in since the Rose Bowl Parade? I think they've been in about 6 or 7 Madi Gras Parades and about 3 band battles. In High School, I was worn out marching in one parade and that was a small local one. They seem like they still have energy.💪🏿💯 That Rose Bowl parade gained them even more publicity than they already have had.
The thing about this is SU battle without their whole band. If they brought their army with them, no one would have a chance so SU give them a chance with half there band. I would have brought the whole band.

Plus its about the same I've March in yall parades before so that not a lie. Yes our parades are more family and organization based because cause mobile is not a tourist city like New Orleans. People come to visit their family,friends and to experience mardi gras in its original home and form. its family friendly and clean compared to NOLA's. I wouldn't want my family around such an environment either. Girls Gone Wild filmed and hosted their show there. And the video doesn't say it all. many ppl wasn't around when SU playing is because ppl are in their set location where thier family & friends annuly set up at or on Dauphin st eating and drinking. Where SU was at it would've took an hr or more for some ppl to get to. So ppl not about to walk that far just to here SU play and walk back to there location thats to much. SU is highly praised in mobile. Some of our best musicians attend the school just because of the band. The head and assist directors are mobile natives.

Plus its about the same I've March in yall parades before so that not a lie. Yes our parades are more family and organization based because cause mobile is not a tourist city like New Orleans. People come to visit their family,friends and to experience mardi gras in its original home and form. its family friendly and clean compared to NOLA's. I wouldn't want my family around such an environment either. Girls Gone Wild filmed and hosted their show there. And the video doesn't say it all. many ppl wasn't around when SU playing is because ppl are in their set location where thier family & friends annuly set up at or on Dauphin st eating and drinking. Where SU was at it would've took an hr or more for some ppl to get to. So ppl not about to walk that far just to here SU play and walk back to there location thats to much. SU is highly praised in mobile. Some of our best musicians attend the school just because of the band. The head and assist directors are mobile natives.

Stop lying....SU played like 2 songs while AAMU was warming up and practicing parade music which only lasted about 7 minutes and then AAMU turned around and responded. Then SU headed out, why? If they were that pressed to battle why not stay for 2 more songs? SU definitely needed their whole band because they did NOT get it done with what they had.
