Let’s hope the genie doesn’t slap Aladdin for insulting his wife
That is haram habibi
I can forgive him for the slap, I just wish others could move on too.
Omg💀💀
meanwhile Chris Rock likes the shipping that Dalia = Eden
Genie = slap KEEP MY WIFE’S NAME OUT YOUR F****** MOUTH
🤣
Will Smith memes aside, he did such a fantastic job filling the shoes after Robin Williams. He portrayed Genie in his own way without tarnishing what Robin Williams did with the character. You'd be a fool to think Will didn't understand how critical people would be of his role as Genie.

I love how Arabian nights is getting more popular now. People at first were obsessed with Prince Ali but now this song is getting more love it deserves. I love this song, I always have. ❤️
It took me till today to find out this is where that’s from cause I never watched the movie

@@shadownight5458 watch it! Start with the animated one though.
@@gianna526 this song is in the original aninated one too?
@@hadarhoory4117 No it’s not. I’m pretty sure the animated one has a song called Arabian Nights but the lyrics are different for obvious reasons and the one in the live action movie is longer than the one in the animated one.
This movie really brought the Aladdin cartoon to life. Will Smith did an amazing job playing the genie and singing the song.
Holy f""k I didin't know it was Will Smith.

Talk about the strongest opening scene I’ve ever watched!💖
No doubt, this (the song) is one of the most amazing creation of Arabian Night's, however, try the original song in the animated show - it is 10x better than this, this is still amazing but the original, damn, that's just so better and I don't even know why - the singers voice, his Arabic accent.. maybe that.

Ya, the movie is so good.
Yes I get the vibes from this film it’s so good!
We can all admit that the original is definitely better though.
@@geraldgreg5370 I like this one better lol, but the original isn't bad...
@@geraldgreg5370 Nah, I like this one better and I like Will's genie more.
When you realize the genie must say no and then oblige their requests quite often for them to have no reaction because he spent centuries having no choice to say no. Even though he wants to give his kids the world, he still revels in the freedom he was granted.
That’s actually a very good observation.
I remember seeing this scene in Theaters, when he sang the "Arabian Nights", the speaker was blasting at full volume surround sound and it was Eargasm. The movie overall blew my expectations away, it was fantastic, the singing was amazing, it gave me chills, man id pay alot of money to experience that again.
BRO SAME LOL. It was an expierence. No other mobie did that. The music was on a sound booster or something. filled the entire rolm as if you were actually there
Omg same! One of the best experiences ever that’s why I love going to the Theaters
"Eargasm"... What a good way to put it.
Yo I had the exact same experience. But I definitely had eaten a medicated bag of gummies beforehand. 😅Aladdin was my favorite as a child and I was very much anticipating this movie. And it definitely exceeded my expectations.

Only good live action remake Disney has ever done. They did a great job with not ruining the genie and making him just as good as his own character. Plus the singing and music was fantastic

I like how they made the credits font a part of the culture this movie takes place in. Pretty cool.
Yes, and you probably like how they turned the _one_ Arabic Disney hero black.
@@Galdring I mean other than that one character. And plus he is a genie. So definitely a genie could be any form if possible. Correct? Genies could be Arabic, black, man, or woman. We can't predict what their forms after all.

A little bit of fun Trivia. Frank Welker is the only cast member to span both movies ... the voice of the cave of wonder.
My boy Megatron is also a mystical cave. Did not know that
He also played rajah and abu
And James Earl Jones as Mufusa in both Lion king movies
I appreciate this more than you realise. Good work, Jason
@@rstein926 Frank Welker also did the snarling sounds in Lion King, he would scream into a trash can in the recording studio.

2:35 the best part of the song in my opinion
@Jim is Good lmao
I didn't expect our traditions to reach foreigners 😭 But this is really beautiful
🤦♂️Clearly you don't know a thing about your culture, that if you actually were arabian. foreigners don't live in lalalands, so calm down you humiliate yourself.
Ikr
The middle east has beautiful culture (Being South Italian I appreaciate it a lot)
The problem is that this movie has also Indian elements. The tiger is called Rajah which is Indian and means King. The actress is indian and will smith and the makers said in an interview that they thought of India and Bollywood by making the dance and costumes. This is unfortunately no real Arab culture representation.

I love to see Atlantis get the live action treatment

Go watch Aqua man to compensate
Atlantis was a box office failure in Disney’s eyes. Why would they ever do that?

Oh no not an Israelian
No doubt the best live action that disney has ever done
I think this will forever be known as the one good disney remake. They nailed the vibe of a broadway show.

Oh, imagine a land, it's a faraway place
Where the caravan camels roam
Where you wander among every culture and tongue
It's chaotic, but hey, it's home
When the wind's from the east
And the sun's from the west
And the sand in the glass is right
Come on down, stop on by
Hop a carpet and fly
To another Arabian night
As you wind through the streets at the fabled bazaars
With the cardamom-cluttered stalls
You can smell every spice
While you haggle the price
Of the silks and the satin shawls
Oh, the music that plays as you move through a maze
In the haze of your pure delight
You are caught in a dance, you are lost in the trance
Of another Arabian night
Arabian nights
Like Arabian days
More often than not are hotter than hot
In a lot of good ways
Arabian nights
Like Arabian dreams
This mystical land of magic and sand
Is more than it seems
There's a road that may lead you to good or to greed
Through the power your wishing commands
Let the darkness unfold or find fortunes untold
Well, your destiny lies in your hands
Only one may enter here
One whose worth lies far within
A diamond in the rough
Arabian nights
Like Arabian days
They seem to excite, take off and take flight
To shock and amaze
Arabian nights
'Neath Arabian moons
A fool off his guard could fall and fall hard
Out there on the dunes
