I love Darren's and Georgie's insightful and deep explanation about how a vegan diet, especially in terms of ultra-processed foods, isn't what the market makes it out to be. It's as beneficial as eating a fresh carnivorous diet, which emphasises meat and vegetables. The best part is Darren's tip: being kind to the environment, animals, and yourself is key to a vegan diet. Mia also mentioned that we all eat vegetables; the difference with a vegan diet is that it focuses on eating more of what’s best for your body.
Just a couple of questions: honey is a strange one I think, because it’s not made ‘out of bee’s’! It’s a product made from plants by bees! I was really surprised when I found out that wasn’t vegan. Is it because it can be seen as taking the resource from the bees who made it? Also, you say leather isn’t vegan of course, but what about the leather seats in cars, such as in the range rovers and Tesla’s you drive in some videos? Some of them have leather seats. Do you make a conscious decision to choose cars without them?
So honey is one of those grey areas, for me provided it's from an ethical beekeeper I personally don't mind having it as after talking to various beekeepers in detail they explained so much to me so I personally will have honey if I know where it's from and if it's somebody that really takes care of their bees as it doesn't actually harm them, it's more of a byproduct. Some vegans will some vegans won't. Most won't I do believe
That's a valid question!! I would do some research on how unethical honey bee transportation is for example. and I think for vegans its just about not wanting to take from animals or make their live's purpose to serve us.
Hey fizz fam watching your videos helped me a lot I am a vegetarian, I still eat animal products but not meat it helped me come out of my shell and less nervous and I'm proud of it thank you guys ❤
I used to be a meat eater my parents put meat on my plate and now I choose to have a burger once a month, and I'm allergic to gluten, egg whites and peanuts. So I've had to changed my diet drastically. thanks for being an inspiration to all who follow you
I am vegetarian but i am also gluten free and allergic to peanuts. I have tried to re add meat it hurts my stomach. Like it causes stabbing pains to my stomach. I also have difficulty swallowing so to have meat i have to puree it and i just dont like that.
HAPPY FIZZ FRIDAY! Wow such an inspiring video I loved watching it and extra long what a treat! I new this video was coming and I am so happy it was posted today because today was a hard one love you guys ❤❤❤
happy fizz Friday! such a interesting video and a really important one for people to see! Being plant based is something so special ❤ thanks for taking us apart of your journey xx 🌱💚
Thank you for answering my question! I know it wasn’t clear but as a meat eater wanting to eat healthier and wanting to change my diet I’m finding it hard but thank you for opening my eyes to other foods. Love you so much ❤
Loving this video! Happy 13 years of being vegan! I’ve been a vegetarian for about 6ish years I still eat dairy products once in a while. I love how y’all really care so much about animals and how you can help them!
I went vegan at 20 years and have been for almost 6 years, and have followed for ages! The biggest inspiration you all help me with is staying focused on eating cleanly and taking care of my mind and body. Because it can be easy to fall into vegan junk foods, not paying attention to mental state, being too stagnant etc... So once again thank you guys for your positive influence on this corner of the internet and on my life. :)
30:30 I agree hahaha sometimes I see angry vegans on social media and it makes me mad because we are not all hating people my brother is a meat eater and I couldn’t care less I still love him hahaha we don’t go around yelling like the vegan teacher from tiktok
Congratulations Family Fizz 👏🏼❤ I will celebrate 10 years as a vegan this June. I've been following you since you lived in the canary islands and only Mia and Sienna had been born. I love watching your videos and I get inspired by your lifestyle constantly ❤
I love you all so much😍.I’ve been watching you all for nearly 2 years and I have learnt so much from you. I discovered your videos when I watched Sienna’s gymnastics room makeover ever since then I followed you and your my favourite TH-camrs!!! I got the girls book and it’s amazing you both did a fantastic job, I have always wanted to meet you when I went to London and can’t believe you used to live so near when you were living in Brighton and I’m not going to lie I was sad when I found out you were moving to Spain but now I love seeing you so happy 😁 and it’s lovely to see a new place on the vlogs. I’m 13 and your all a big inspiration. I would love to get a pin!!! Never stop vlogging and keep on smiling ☺️
Hi Issie 😊 Thanks so much for being a part of the Fizz Fam ❤️ So happy to hear you’re enjoying the book! Hope you have a lovely weekend and happy Fizz Friday 💕
This meant alot to me, thank you for not being toxic or hateful to meat eaters. I love you guys alot for this. (P.s. I'm a meat-eater and I've heard alot of toxic things about all vegans so knowing you guys aren't like that relieved me alot that not all vegans are toxic)
One thing that is very difficult about eating vegan, at least where I live, is it is expensive. There's cheaper processed foods than there are vegetables and vegan foods. I hope someday to be able to eat better. I was vegetarian for 10 years, then I had severe health issues and multiple doctors told me to eat fish. So I tried fish, found out I was severely allergic, then instead tried chicken. Now I eat mostly vegetarian but someday soon hope to go vegan or vegetarian fully again. I just have to watch my health and my budget.
I’d love to see a video of Vegan meal recipes! As someone who is looking to incorporate more plant based meals, a video of some of your favourite eats would be really interesting!
Hi Family Fizz! I’ve always heard that one should avoid coconut oil because it’s extremely high in saturated fat, which is not good for your heart and blood vessels. Do you guys disagree? I’ve researched it and I’ve found that people suggest to avoid it, and rather to cook with avocado oil because of its high smoke point. Curious about your thoughts on this! Sending love from South Africa!
Karma has a natural public speaking aura, I can see her going far in educating about something one day, she's so eager to learn and always listening to the conversation! 💗 Thank you all for sharing your experience, I found the natural foods/ingredients vs vegan really helpful and interesting and also the point of not reducing your portions but in-fact increasing them! Personally I was Pescatarian for years but during (an incomplete pregnancy) I ironically suddenly ate meat again (despite never usually having any appetite for it ever) and never built my strength back up enough to feel confident to make that diet switch again- finally feeling ready and eager and this video has only increased that confidence as I feel I can teach my partner about this too!💗
I completely admire veganism, and one day i will make the jump from being a vegetarian to being a vegan. I agree with everything you've said in this video. You are an inspiration for us who really really want to be vegan, waiting to make that life change 💖
It is science backed that the enzymes in our mouths adapt to whatever we eat...whether we go from an animal based diet to plant based or vice versa. We are built to survive. Even on plant based diet when we learn to eat more dark leafy greens which are the healthiest...it takes time. They first taste VERY bitter...then they taste kind of sweet and delicious and we crave them.
I LOVE YOU GUYSSS !!!! can you please reply to my comment as ive been watching you guys since forever and keep posting videos always as I enjoy watching them everyday :)
Waste is such an interesting topic because, food waste is easy to break down in the earth and by sending things back you help impact supply and demand..
It would be brilliant if you could film a weeks worth of "what I eat in a day." From breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks, etc, and then post it at the end of the week. ❤ I've done some research, and I've been following you for a long, long time and done a lot of soul searching. I really feel like vegan is the way forward for me, and I would love to see a video like this please.❤
Great video!! You set the example for so many people! The December of 2025 i will celebrate 10 years vegan!! Still in Greece i feel i am always the only vegan in groups of friends or at work but I am also so proud and I set an example for my students at school! They always ask me questions regarding my diet and I feel I can influence them somehow in their lives! Also, I am a 3 times marathoner!! Greetings from Athens to the whole family! :) Vegans can change the world! ❤️✨️
I have to agree with Darren, a nice baked Potato, a salad and some beans, to me that sounds like a nice meal. I might have to try that one night for my supper.
Hey fizz fam iv been watching all your channels for years and I always knew you was all vegan I am unfortunately not vegan but you all inspire me so much I wish one day I’ll bring my self to do it love you all so much ❤
Hi happy FizzFriday! You guys are my favorite TH-camr and I have been watching you for so long! Also I have started the plant based diet working closer to the vegan lifestyle! ❤
I actually found your channel many years ago searching for vegan inspo when you were a vegan fitness channel. It’s great to see you all still thriving on a vegan diet 🌱
Hi guys, I loved this video so so much, I love how you’re not at all afraid to share about your veganism and be proud of it. My little brother who is currently slightly older than Karma, he finds it hard when he goes to a party or the movies and they don’t have anything vegan available. How do you guys deal with that? Because personally when I was about 7, I used to be Soooo proud of being vegetarian (I was vegetarian since birth and chose veganism at 14 years old, since converting my whole family to veganism!!) I used to love saying to my classmates, “do you know that those jellies have crushed up beetles in them?!” Or I’d go around and say “I wouldn’t want to eat a dead animal, that’s cruel and gross” 😂 To be honest, it probably wasn’t the nicest of me to be rubbing it in peoples faces but on the other hand, I remember children being so rude to me and waving a slice of ham in my face or specially talking in depth about the texture of the meat they were eating. I was born in 2003 so of course it’s become more mainstream now which is INCREDIBLE! It’s the best thing to see more people being vegan and vegetarian and I really think that’s one positive of social media, I’m sure it’s a lot more normalised which is so great as I grew up being the on,y vegetarian and I didn’t meet a vegan until I was 18! I feel like if sienna and I had been in the same class and were the same age, we would’ve been best friends, I also used to do gymnastics and we’re quite alike in terms of personality! Anyway, amazing video and I love you guys Best wishes from Ireland x Rachel
I was vegetarian for a little while but I couldn’t maintain the lifestyle because I went cold Turkey and didn’t know what to eat. The vegan/vegetarian alternatives in the store were too grainy and processed for me. I was a lot younger and my blood test was terrible. Everyone around me told me I’d need to rely on pills to have healthy levels in my blood so I gave up. That week I ate meat again I felt sooo sick. I still get so grossed out by red meat but I don’t mind chicken sometimes. I follow a couple vegan/vegetarian recipe pages which gives me aloooot of ideas😅 it’s been in the back of my mind to try again 😁
Love your channel( please pin) i love what you do for Mia,Sienna,Karma and Koa and you sre all so caring to eachother even if you are going through a hard time and all of you are naturally kind
The vegan kind of Lindt (Swiss brand) chocolate is also great!! They have different kinds like popcorn, cookies and cream, salted caramel, hazelnut, pretzel,… 😍 highly recommend!
Great vlog. Loom forward to the recipe book. I need some inspiration for more natural products over processed vegan substitutes. Ps karma is an absolute gem. Fav food burgers and doughnuts. Love her personality.
I loved hearing about your journey and why you do what you do! I would like to add though, the Bible doesn't explicitly say Jesus was vegan. He was Jewish meaning he didn't eat pork or pig products. In his culture, it is very likely that he ate lamb and fish.
This vegan family are awesome. Choices on which you eat is your choice. I'm against forcing my beliefs on others/being militant. But telling people your reasons is good and listening to other opinions as well. Vegan Vegetarian Meat eating. Its a matter of choice. Unless you're allergic. I'm allergic to wool. I eat meat but I am not a militant meat eater. Husband does not but isnt militant. I like meat free products as well as meat. Same as religion. It is good to have labels of course! Be kind very important.
You guys mentioned watching earthlings about 6 years ago so I watched it and it did turn me into a vegan. Absolutely horrific 😢 however I am no longer vegan anymore! And I feel guilty about it everyday because of this film! But I’ve grown up as only eating free range (my mum is a semi veg so only eats free range and no red meat)
Watched guys since the og breakfast videos ❤when you lived in Brighton I think it was 🤔 I am not vegan and grown up eating a diet with meat and vegetables so the “norm” and meat was everyday. I don’t eat meat often anymore and when we eat meat and milk we always buy from small farms from our local farmers where they have had it good. Vegetables you can’t get all the things local in Sweden in winter but in summer all things are from local farmers or that we have grown. I think the way you guys think about unprocessed food is the way to go. As must organic and local as possible. I love your videos and try to watch the Snapchat stories but I hate Snapchat so can’t really keep up❤ Happy vegan birthday 💚
what advice would you give for someone living at home who wants to not eat meat but isn’t allowed due to the rest of the family eating meat. sometimes it’s fine for me but other times it just makes me feel really bad
Have you tried offering to cook dinner one night a week and when you cook doing plant-based meals? A way to introduce the family to new foods whilst having some control over what you eat.
I must also say you all look really healthy and radiant and ive just double checked my beauty products and there all vegan and cruelty free I was in panic mode all though ive always checked that things are cruelty free but i must admit i did think if something said vegan it's cruelty free but thank god there both thank you for explaining all this its been very interesting xx
Sorry I have questions for you guys do you guys think that that being vegan can be bad for different body’s, I had a friend that got very sick, I hope that isn’t a mean question ❤
I’ve always wanted to be vegetarian I’m thinking about trying to make it happen soon. I love animals and have always felt guilty eating meat for as long as I can remember, even as a child. I remember trying to tell my mam I wanted to be vegetarian a lot when I was a kid and I’ve thought about it so much as an adult. Also I’m chronically ill and have an auto inflammatory disease, I find fatty foods make it ten times worse so think cutting out meat etc would likely help ❤. My son and I are allergic to dairy so I already cut all milk products from the house as it is my sons also allergic to beef x
Brilliant video...I always wondered why you choose soy milk over oat milk and nut milks. Im vegan and going plant based.. loving your recipes, they look so good and balanced.. I drink a lot of hot choc, raw cacau, oat milk and maple syrup however I wonder if maple syrup and oat milk is any good for me.. .I dont use the word vegan as there is so much junk vegan food. I prefer to say 'Plant based' Looking forward to you recipes book. When will it be published?

The way Koa sits and stares at Georgie. Full of love just listening is so beautiful. What a lovely family xo
I have watched the same documentary and it truly is heart breaking and life changing too.

google why vegans don’t eat honey, bees suffer. and yes, vegans do not pay for anything made with leather, including cars.
@Ellejaye2001 so true though
Tesla uses only vegan leather, and I think most other car manufacturers have vegan leather as an option, so you can't always tell just by looking.
I rlly want to do it but worried it’s more expensive ??! 😢
Toby happy fizz Friday ❤
Hope you have a great weekend.
Love Your Journey ❤
❤️❤️
You are so inspiring
I love that king koa is eating and all the kids are so beautiful 😍 they are cute karma’s hair is so pretty
Hi family fizz so amazing video with vegan video how to be vegan human and I love also you all guys videos 😍❤💙👌
Love you fizz fam😊
Hi fizzfam love the video will you make a recipe book? ❤❤
Watched guys since the og breakfast videos ❤when you lived in Brighton I think it was 🤔
I am not vegan and grown up eating a diet with meat and vegetables so the “norm” and meat was everyday.
Just let you your family know that you don’t want to eat meet. You want alternative dishes. Hopefully they accept your decision and understand.
@ thank you, i really have tried but they genuinely won’t budge but they have started doing less meat so thank u
Have you tried offering to cook dinner one night a week and when you cook doing plant-based meals? A way to introduce the family to new foods whilst having some control over what you eat.
I love how you are so true to your beliefs ❤
Aw thank you ❤️
You guys are such a beautiful family, I love you guys ❤
Aw thank you Addie 😊❤️
I have a question for you guys, has karma or koa ever wanted to know what animals taste like.
I hope that isn’t a mean question.💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚
It was a very interesting video, thank you I learned so much and I agree the best foods are the one from nature ❤
What my family did is at first we didn't eat meat and then we started doing the other things too❤
I would love a vegan recipe video,I think it would help any new vegans or vegetarians ❤
You are a beautiful family keep being you❤
Sorry I have questions for you guys do you guys think that that being vegan can be bad for different body’s, I had a friend that got very sick, I hope that isn’t a mean question ❤
Hope you guys have a great weekend ❤
You too William 😊
I prefer to say 'Plant based'
Looking forward to you recipes book. When will it be published?
