You took the words right out of my mouth, Kyle, bringing up Kallus and Zeb on the ice moon of Geonosis. I'll say this, without sounding ultra-critical, because this was a great production. If there was a common enemy in the physical, like a monster or something, I think it could have given it that Star Wars feel, without so much dialogue. Reminds me of Darmok, as well, from Star Trek: The Next Generation.

It makes me feel that the SW fandom is not only composed of simple but more complex themes and emotions for this wholesome dedication to an industry we love. Fan films are a celebration of the source material and one of the ultimate expressions of appreciation for a franchise; it's art. Can art be pretentious sometimes? Sure. But so can just about anything. You don't have to enjoy or even understand something, you can still respect the people making it.
I really enjoy this type of stuff. Shows fans are just as capable to make good stories.

Fan films seem to do a good job in painting a realistic everyday setting for the Imperial side of things. Makes me dislike the rebels lol.
