During our Emerald Faarufushi snorkeling adventure, we were greeted by mesmerizing schools of longfin bannerfish, their elongated fins gracefully flowing in the currents. The majestic bluefin trevally, also known as jackfish, made a striking appearance, while the distinctive humpback unicornfish added a touch of whimsy to the underwater scene.
The Emerald Faarufushi Maldives House Reef is home to a dazzling array of colorful creatures. We spotted elegant black & white snapper, massive giant clams with their vibrant mantles, and the captivating oriental sweetlips. A highlight of our excursion was encountering a magnificent giant moray eel, its impressive size and intricate patterns leaving us in awe.
The reef also revealed some of our favorite species, including the regal angelfish with its royal blue and yellow hues, the intriguing cushion starfish, and the striking double bar goatfish. Yes its right off the end of the jetty. Very easy and wonderful snorkelling
