Hi there, yes was able to set them all as a 'Lash-up'. It's very easy. With the three engines already added in the remote, you can go in and create a separate engine line item number for the engine consist. You specify whether it's the lead, mid or last engine and whether it's running in the forward or reverse direction. Next time you go to run that lash-up, select the engine line item number (and name you gave it) and hit the startup button. :)
Yes I have and do on occassion. I speed match each engine to an original stock MTH One Gauge engine so no matter what brand or type they all run the exact same speed. DCS Protosound engines are unique in that the engines Protosound sound and control board uses an optical reader on a flywheel to monitor actual physical speed so that allows it to run at the precise same speed if it sees 18v or 24v or if the motors heat up, unlike DCC that uses only back-emf.
@spacecalander Hi there, thank you. The track is made of Stainless Steel so it never corrodes or oxidizes like normal track (especially brass). I have run trains on my small inner 120ft oval after a year of non-use and the trains run perfectly. Stainless steel rail is the only way to go for outdoor garden railroad deployments.
Bloody Nose SD40-2 power at its finest!!! Killer job Raymond!! Your layout is breathtaking and the MTH conversions are super Cool! Great videos!

@fosterhse1 It's running on digital control under MTH's DCS (not DCC) which includes sound (Protosound 2).
That is code 332 Aristocraft Stainless Steel rail. Another seller of nice code 332 is HR Trains.
NIce work on the SD 40-2's
great sound! DCS seems to be really cool. Though I will probably never change from DCC, because that's fine, too, I'm really, really impressed!
Wow nice, what do you do to the track when it rains to prevent corrosion?
@spacecalander His track is Stainless Steel.
SP can't make any money not pulling freight! ! Looks awesome and sounds great!
Have you ever done a lash up with different manufacturer i.e usa trains and aristocraft?
They sound fantastic!!
What make of track and rail profile is that? Look's really good compaired to the other bulky looking track.
@NHseacoast Thank you
@PghTrainFanatic Thanks!!!
Ray how is it that the sound is so "loud" ? *Because of the shell size / reverb. and the like ?. BEAUTIFUL !
@aocruiser Thanks man!
did you link all 3 together with the mth dcs system, and was it very difficult?
Very nice sound system.
DCC Sound controls or just track power?
Thanks!
Write a letter to USA Trains and complain.
