Thank you so much. I haven't embroidered in a few years--I have V8 but have not used it. After watching your video, I'm in for the free trial and probably the purchase. Thank you!
There are some things in design properties that have to stay in metric. So if you only know the inches for those particular measurements, in that box type in your number followed by the letters I N and then hit enter. The software will convert that number which is inches into the metric that the software needs. And the same goes if you have an inch box and it you only have a metric measurement if you type in your number followed by MM it will do the conversion from metric to inches.
My shop doesn’t offer master class. They only sit down w you and walk you through very basics so you can sew. No trouble shooting, other than maintenance like oil and cleaning. :(
Where are you located. My dealership sucks they don’t even have classrooms. Ie I’m so thankful I finally came across your you tube site. You are great! So much info. Not available locally, I am meaning within a 4-5 hour drive. I can’t believe Bernina allows people to sell machines and not have them covering support. I have 4 stores selling Bernina. Yet no support, mastery classes etc. I have several Bernina’s, 730 record, 1230, 770qe and serger purchased when I lived in city. Except 770. Purchased here and no support. There are many who live in country settings and need access to help. I’m hoping Bernina realizes this and allows us to support business that assist us like yours does and not make us be stuck in a looser situation. Sad for their customers.
@@MaterialGirlsQuiltBoutique yes I wrote to Bernina today. I was hot. They make us support stores whom take our money and leave us high and dry instead of the market allowing the good shops to thrive due to customer service. Right now customers are the ones who pay the price in a bad way. I will have to pay twice, once for program and then again for customer support. As I will sign up and take the mastery classes offered. No one within 300+ miles offer any mastery classes. We just flail. Because of this I can’t advise anyone here to purchase a Bernina. As wonderful as they are when you have questions or need training forget it. Bernina won’t let us choose where to go get our supplies to support good businesses.
Is the preorder deal with your shop or any shop? Would it then be 699 or is the 799 the deal? Can’t tell you how awesome your tutorials are! They are a game changer for anyone who has the deer in the headlights look after buying a Bernina!
@@MaterialGirlsQuiltBoutique I have bought an 8 version and will upgrade for less than new 9. Hey more fabric I can purchase. I would like to be added to a list for the mastery classes on the 9. I know I will have to pay for these. I will gladly support you as you offer great info. I’m furious w all the Bernina dealers within 4-500 miles of my home. They are willing to take our money and I understand they sell amazing machines. But then nothing. No support, nothing. I so wish I lived closer to you. I also try to buy from and support Bernina Jeff as he has helped me out of Jams since I was never offered support from dealer. I understand much of what he covers was covered in mastery classes. They aren’t offered ever where
QUESTION: I've read that the new wifi device will work on competitor machines (that Bernina has tested), but cannot find any information on which machines are compatible. Is there a published list of those machines? I am interested in 9 DesignerPlus but really want to know if I'll be able to use the wifi device on my non-Bernina machine before making my decision. Thanks
We were told the same thing but were not told what it was tested with. So, I don't have any confirmed information at this time. Dealers should have a device by, hopefully, the end of October and will be able to test.
Very sorry you found it distracting. I am not a public speaker and this was done quickly to put out this information so people could be informed. I was just learning all the information as well.
@@MaterialGirlsQuiltBoutique you did a great job it's just me 😉 I wish I could've bought my update from you so I would have your classes. Keep up the educational link! Take care and blessings for health and happiness.
No one does tutorials as brilliantly as you Amy, not Bernina or anyone else, you’re the best 😊 don’t ever stop

What a great video! Thank you. I wasn’t sure I wanted to update until I watched this. You changed my mind.

Enjoyed this video .Thank you.
Are there Corel SE tutorials in the Home tutorials?
Can I still save to a memory stick as well as the direct to machine cable?
How do I find lofgin and password
I found the drop down to choose US measurement but in design properties is still metric. can i change that anywhere else? thanks

Question: Will the Masters Classes be part of what Bernina expects of a dealer? Thanks so much for this wonderful information!
Yes my mastery classes are based on the BERNINA program but I do make adjustments and modifications

We are located in Southern Maryland. We are so sorry that you are not supported in education. This a one of the main cornerstones of our store.

This is a specific promotion for our store
If we don’t have older models of embroidery, do I need to get the older ones as well? Or should I buy 8 and add 9 cheaper that way
You could find a V8 full version on sale and then update to 9.

Hi Amy, Is that price in US or Aus?You did a great job of the demo for V9.Thamk you for that.
Caroline (Queensland,Australia)
This is US pricing. You are very welcome.
Is this version9 work with Bernina E 16?
I am sure it will work but I am not knowledgeable on the E16
Can you still do cross stitch?
Yes cross stitch is still there
Thank you - informative and glad to watch but the number of times 'k' said was very distracting.

Very informative. Positive feedback, the repetitive use of okay, k, unkay made it very difficult to listen.
Thank you for your feedback, I am always actively working on improving my videos.
