Reputation 100% converted me to a Swiftie. She SLAYS every song on that album. The Reputation Stadium Tour concert on Netflix absolutely blew my mind, and I Did Something Bad had me in a state of shock for days. Taylor is a gift to the world, and she ALWAYS delivers.
I was dragged to the reputation tour, Taylor was never on my radar, this immediately made me a swiftie. This show was insane. Everyone all over this eras tour, but reputation was her opus
@@tkraft82I wish I could have seen the Reputation tour live. If I got the chance to go back in time I go back just to be in the audience for that tour. Taylor absolutely is the biggest and best live performer out there. She just keeps getting better and I can't wait to see what else she does in future.
Whenever people tell Tay Tay she can’t do something, she not only proves them wrong, she exceeds any expectations! They said she couldn’t dance, so worked extra hard on the choreography for this tour.
The NFL connection with Travis got me interested in Tay and I have to say this Reputation Tour (I watched on Netflix) is fire I pretty much like every song on the album. So my vote is just go through the full album 1 song at a time and check on TH-cam to see if you can find the related live performances from the reputation tour. I was incredibly surprised by her music and especially this reputation album is absolutely 🔥
Since you asked ... Taylor Swift executive produced and co-wrote all 15 tracks on her 2017 album Reputation with two production teams: Jack Antonoff: Co-wrote and co-produced six of the tracks Max Martin and Shellback: Co-wrote and produced nine of the tracks Swift: Co-produced all tracks I love this album.
Yes!!! Same! that documentary FLOORED me!! Then watching “the man” music video… I really had to take a deep look at why I didn’t like her. The internal misogyny was real! She is incredible!!
Literally!! The documentary changed me. I was like she’s JUST LIKE ME. Then folklore?! Then Midnights?! I had to work backwards but I’m so happy I saw the light.
She's been putting music out since she was 15, and now she's 34. She's won Album of the Year at the Grammys three times, which only three other people in history have done: Stevie Wonder, Paul Simon, and Frank Sinatra, and she's nominated again this year so she may beat them all. You'll never find a bad song from her. And her producers are the same or different, depending on album. The only thing that is the same on each album is the genius that is Taylor Alison Swift. Reputation is great, sure. But so is Lover, 1989, Folklore, on and on and on.
First half of the album was produced by Max Marin & Shellback; the rest of it was with Jack Antonoff. Also, Taylor has co=produced every record after the debut; she has a lot of say into what the studio albums sound like. Her live tour chief engineer is Chris Rowe -- she has had him on her crew since the 1989 tour. They work out the live arrangements, interstitial music, and set lists. She designs the stage concept, the overall flow of the show, and then works with stage designers/choreographers to map out every second of the show. She has been doing that since her first headline tour in 2009 (Fearless Tour). Chris Rowe has also done most of the production on the re-records; while other producers who may have done specific older songs were brought back in (except Martin; Shellback returned for their songs on 1989 and Red).
You had me at "talk your sh*t, Tay". I'm Swifting out at this reaction. I think, based off this reaction, you do have to listen to the album. But you also probably need to watch the Reputation Tour - because it's fire but it's leaving Netflix this month (sob). I vote for DON'T BLAME ME from this tour next!! Others that for me are must-watch: Getaway Car, Dancing With Our Hands Tied, Clean, and Long Live/New Year's Day. Glad you're enjoying this so far. It's nice to see people be open to exploring music they never thought they'd like.
Taylor has grown up! In 2010 my daughter was 8 listening to Taylor. I wasn’t. I did hear enough to know this isn’t the same Taylor! Loving every minute of it.
This comment, I blindly went to her Reputation tour as I was randomly given tickets and just off the production of the tour I like hoold up, after that show I was on a road trip and gave the album a full listen and I was hooked hooked since. She was singing about grown stuff lol love it!
I was at that Reputation Stadium Tour concert in Arlington Texas 10/5/18. I took my little girls to it. It was fire!! They gave us bracelets to wear that light up when vocals from her come out of her mouth. I still have it of course it doesn't light up anymore.
Yes. All of it. Just listen to the whole album and especially watch the whole tour. She looks all sweet and innocent but rep tour proved she’s a f***ing bada**!!! 👊
Did u guys know that the ratatatatatatcha instrament sounding parts sre actually her own voice? its in the song like 2 or 3 times one specifically at min 12:42. She came up with that at home, went to the studio and polished it up. Look at her video on writing her songs, and its in there. I mean damn, the song. Performance, everything is fire! And she takes it a step fserare instrumental are her voice and writing too! Shes phenomenal!l
I'm with him on the "I gotta hear a little more". I always find myself replaying her songs. The more you listen to them the more you hear. She puts so much into her music🥰🖤
You gotta see how she made this song ! you gotta see the whole tour it’s amazing and the way she appreciates everyone that worked to put the tour together was sooo sweet -honestly I’d watch miss American first you’ll get some context for this album
Hey AB fun fact: the rattattatta sound is Taylor’s own vocals on this song, not just a sound effect. She’s wild! There’s videos out there of her recording it, and you can’t unhear it after 😂
I am a new Swiftie. I am amazed at the talent, determination, style, everything. I'm proud and happy for her. She has made me so happy with her songs and their lyrics, I pretty much sing them all day at work. I see this video was a month ago, so I'm pretty sure you delved in and watched a lot more of her.
This will always be my favorite performance of hers. This performance is what started my Swiftie journey. It is ICONIC and the song wasnt even released as a single
The Reputation tour version of this performance is great, but you *have* to watch the 2018 VMAs performance of this. She gets nervous at awards shows because she feels like she really has to prove herself, and man, she gave it her freaking all. And the video quality is MUCH better. If you’d like me to, I can provide the link to the best video of it! Love your reactions. I’ve seen all of these before already, but I’m going back through your old ones to discover where *exactly* you became such a Swiftie lol. And I didn’t even mean to do it this way. I’ve watched half of your TTPD livestream reaction and a bunch of your new videos. Thanks for everything you do - it makes a difference in people’s lives in ways you might not be aware of. Wishing you the best! ❤
Taylor was labeled a producer by the Grammy museum after her 1989 album. She produces most of her music with collaborators. She has a behind the scenes when creating this album. So cool to watch her come up with ideas.
So this song was produced by Max Martin and Shellback, who co-wrote the song with Taylor. 😊 And for you pub quiz fans, it’s her first song using profanity. And while she didn’t do anything (“THEY SAY I did something bad”), this is part of the larger Thing with Kanye and Kim (do you need a rundown?), coupled with the fact that she GASP had a couple of short romantic relationships. (What a hussy, burn her at the stake.) She says that the song came to her in a dream, and it’s inspired by Sansa and Arya Stark. THAT PART ! The Da Da Da Da Da Da Da DA Dat ( sorry😊! SO not easy to explain in text That That’s Ms. Tay Tay rolling her tongue and singing that part but no one knows that was her voice ! You should watch the entire Netflix tour film soon -- Taylor does some talking in between songs, and she also does the music in a sequence for the show. Seeing just one or two songs as clips leaves a lot out, and the Netflix contract runs out at the end of this year (it has been up for 5 years). That contract was with Big Machine; so it likely won't be re-negotiated. Too long for a video on YT unless you edit the hell out of it, but you should see it for yourself anyway.
The full reputation stadium tour (and miss Americana) are leaving Netflix at the end of December! You could record the full reaction and break it up in TH-cam!
Had to put you on hold to go get her discs forreal!! I’m sold sold sold (I never was not a fan just wasn’t invested in it - damn now I gotta get caught up ….. I get it now )
It's probably already been said in the comments, but at this point you should wait and do the whole Reputation album review once the Taylor's Version comes out. The look on your face when she said "If a man talks shit than I owe him nothing" was priceless. That's my favorite line in the entire song.
I love the line "and if he drops my name then he had it coming" 🖤
his expressions and reactions are so PERFECT
Reputation 100% converted me to a Swiftie. She SLAYS every song on that album. The Reputation Stadium Tour concert on Netflix absolutely blew my mind, and I Did Something Bad had me in a state of shock for days. Taylor is a gift to the world, and she ALWAYS delivers.

@@propertyofranger I think her next obvious step will be a Vegas residency. I was never a fan and discovering her back catalog b4 rep has been fun.
Taylor wrote and produced the entire album! There were collaborators but she was majorly the one involved in ALL her songs!
Martin and Shellback co-wrote and produced nine, and Antonoff co-wrote and co-produced the remaining six, all of which were co-produced by Swift
You have to do Don’t Blame Me from this tour! The vocals are insane!
My favorite ❤
Yes! I love Dont Blame Me Live!
So much fun! 🎉 I really love "don't blame me" ❤

First tour where she looks healthy. This song is my favorite from the album. This performance is incredible.
I thought she looked SO good and her dancing was on point!!!
This is exactly the comment she hated.
@@chand911 She didn't want people to tell her she looked healthy?
She was healthy before, but she started dancing and working out to have stamina for tours, so she gained more muscle volume.
She looked SOOOO good here!!! The epitome of a gorgeous woman. Not a girl anymore. A woman who knows her worth. Stunning!

I love this album.
It’s the “DON’T YOU VOCAL ME & THINK I AINT GOIN BACK” for me 😆😆😆😆😆🫶🏼🩷
So fun fact the “rata-ta-ta” you hear throughout the song is Taylor’s voice distorted!
yea i cant listen to the song without imagining her in her studio playing around with different versions of the ratatas 😭
I can see her with a cat on her lap saying "Ooh, I want try this button next!"
I heard she dreamed that line. Couldn't figure out what instrument could make the sound so she just did it vocally.
Miss Americana documentary!! That is the reason I fel inlove with her and went into the rabbit hole of her music!!❤
Absolutely! That doc + folklore/Evermore are what turned me full so swifty
