This was really hard to watch. I love them both and I love them as a pair but Tana was being super manipulative. I think her heart is in the right place but I think she needs to step back and see how she's invalidating Jeff's completely understandable feelings. Genuinely loving someone doesn't mean shit if you can't listen to them and treat them right.

Idk but if someone put my friends life in danger like that, i wouldn’t even think about that person. Jeff’s feelings and reaction were valid and understandable. It was a horrifying, life changing event that will probably traumatize him for a really long time.
I've been used, abused, and abandoned by an entire friend group (shortly after my parents died too), so I understand Jeff's fixation on the issue with the vlog squad. Tana says "I'd hate to see you keep spiraling" but that's because she handles trauma differently. Tana has been through a lot, and definitely is strong because of it, but she needs to let Jeff feel the way needs to feel UNTIL THE LAWSUIT IS FINISHED. Until then, this Dobrik thing is probably the biggest stresser in his life and will continue to affect him until it's SETTLED.

You do need to move on, you can’t live your entire life in the depths of the trauma of almost dying or you’re not actually living. What she did wasn’t cool but she’s 100% right that he very clearly holds a lot of pent-up bitterness that is only hurting him in the long run when he keeps talking about it and getting this worked up over not trusting others because of it. You can’t live your entire life thinking everybody is just like the person that did you wrong and letting it eat you up.

Jeff's feelings are valid. As much as I enjoy the interaction between J&T. Her occasional involvement with David and his crew is not helpful. I might be wrong here, but I believe they weren't super close when he was going through initial recovery so didnt see the extent of the physical and emotional damage caused. The man is technically still healing and still carries the physical and emotional scars. He has said multiple times he doesn't want other peoples relationship with David to change, but there is a big difference between being civil towards someone and actively seeking out events and parties you know they will be at. I like Tana and enjoy this dynamic but it would concern me how long this can go on for if her energy towards DD doesn't eventually change.
this is probably one of my favorite episodes so far. i love how open jeff and tana are to talk about their off-camera fights, and seeing how far their relationship has come. everyone seems so much closer, and the whole group has been getting so much better at podcasting. love you guys! (also not excluding what tana did, i just think they handled it maturely)
Jeff is about loyalty when it comes to friendship, idk if anyone else has noticed but you can tell when something is bothering him, his fluidity of self expression becomes compressed when bs happens during podcast episodes. It’s a catch 22 in that industry, the PR and drama crap. Tana and Jeff have a lovely friendship, and that’s what should be the main thing, value the connection and of course disagreements will happen, but at the end of the day, that’s your friend. In a world full of superficial it hurts extra hard when you don’t have anyone real beside you. It’s important to keep a circle that surrounds your true nature and values. Tana genuinely cares for Jeff, and it’s good to see you guys cool with each other. Tana did mention an important point, Jeff is capable to do much more than what David can do. There’s no new ideas. I think this situation triggered jeffs abandonment issues just judging from his reaction. everyone left him over the situation when he was severely injured and that probs hurt him in ways we dont know. I've been used, abused, and abandoned by an entire friend group (shortly after my parents died too), so I understand Jeff's fixation on the issue with the vlog squad. Tana says "I'd hate to see you keep spiraling" but that's because she handles trauma differently. Tana has been through a lot, and definitely is strong because of it, but she needs to let Jeff feel the way needs to feel UNTIL THE LAWSUIT IS FINISHED. Until then, this Dobrik thing is probably the biggest stresser in his life and will continue to affect him until it's SETTLED.

Jeff's feelings are valid. As much as I enjoy the interaction between J&T. Her occasional involvement with David and his crew is not helpful. I might be wrong here, but I believe they weren't super close when he was going through initial recovery so didnt see the extent of the physical and emotional damage caused. The man is technically still healing and still carries the physical and emotional scars. He has said multiple times he doesn't want other peoples relationship with David to change, but there is a big difference between being civil towards someone and actively seeking out events and parties you know they will be at. I like Tana and enjoy this dynamic but it would concern me how long this can go on for if her energy towards DD doesn't eventually change.

Jeff is about loyalty when it comes to friendship, idk if anyone else has noticed but you can tell when something is bothering him, his fluidity of self expression becomes compressed when bs happens during podcast episodes. It’s a catch 22 in that industry, the PR and drama crap. Tana and Jeff have a lovely friendship, and that’s what should be the main thing, value the connection and of course disagreements will happen, but at the end of the day, that’s your friend. In a world full of superficial it hurts extra hard when you don’t have anyone real beside you. It’s important to keep a circle that surrounds your true nature and values.
