Your baby is so adorable. I’m getting ready to watch a friend’s baby when she comes off of maternity leave. Right now the baby isn’t even born yet 😂😂 but I’m a big believer in all things Montessori. I used the techniques with my own son who is now 24.
Thank you Ashley for the great amount of time and incredible efforts you have been devoting to your family and to share your knowledge, as well as you are learning along the way with the world. It started when I was searching about Montessori and you showed me that I can do it at the convenience of our home. I have no words to thank you. You help me very much! Please keep up with the AMAZING work in maintaining your blog too in addition to your you tube channel :-) Warm Blessings
I made this for my 5 week old and was so proud of myself... and then my 2 year old ripped it to shreds 😩 How do you stay calm in situations like this?? I'm so irritated I needed to go calm down on my own before addressing it
Mikayla Stagg You answered your own question. You realized you weren’t in the emotional space to handle it calmly so you took a break and addressed it at a later time. That’s awesome!
Such a pretty and smart mobile! I don't think I would be able to make it as perfect as you did. You are so good at teaching all the steps, no wonder you are a teacher :D! You should sell them on Etsy :D! ❤️
Thank you so much, Diana! This one was actually really easy to do, just a lot more complicated to explain for some reason! Lol. And I would love to do this on Etsy but with the babies to manage at the same time, it took me a lot longer to assemble than if I had been doing it uninterrupted. I’d probably never be able to keep up with demand! 😂 lol
This mobile intended for use with 5 to 8 week old babies, but can be used as long as your child shows interest thereafter. Before the age of 5 weeks, a baby is unable to perceive the colors of the octahedrons (rendering this mobile much less effective).

Just finished making mine😍Thanks Ashley❤
What is the length of the octahedron edge? I found multiple variations online, including the three octahedrons varying in size. Thanks!
Thank you for the plans! Mine turned out great!

I like the video
You rock
I'm not at all crafty..would like to purchase from you.
it easier to use a ruler than your fingernails to fold the edges :-s
Yellow, together with blue and red are not a primary colour set. It would be more proper to use red, green and blue.
