i love waheeda rehman she is exactly of my mothers age but i seen her movies on advice of our prof who said he watched sahib bibi aur ghulam 50 time and then me not less than 40 times , and then all , i heard guru dutt also wanted to marry her but she refused ,and chosen a buisnessman of one movive flop hero ,,but real life is different than filmi , so i respcet that however guru dutt i heard went in shock after her refusal any how love waheeda jee
So far i know waheeda loves Guru Dutta & wanted to marry him on condition Guru Dutta must divorce Geetaji.But Guruji refugees to do it.Then after they separated themselves from each other.
Sad that we can't see class - Guru Dutt was already married with Kids - Waheeda did not want to break up a happy home, leave the kids fatherless And who says Guru Dutt would have married her - plenty of heroes have had affairs after marriage

Vyjayanthi was a national star; still at 89 a Performing Artist of Bharatha Natyam & carnatic music; a parliamentarian for 2 terms; an avid golfer. In a nutshell a multifaceted woman . She should have been honoured with the highest award in films.

We were kids me and my sister 2 years older to me . When our elder sisters would get film fare I think was the name of magazine. We would see pictures and loved her as she was the youngest and innocent looking film star . We are grandparents now . She should be at least 14 years older to us . Now days Pakistani and Indian film tv actresses are marrying in 70 - 80 years of age and usually ruining homes of actresses or tv anchors their daughter’s age . Marrying young men much younger than them . Maybe those guys find solace in their company of their mothers

It is very true! Vyjayantimala was/is the first southern actor/dancer, who paved the way for other southern actors! She was the greatest dancer bollywood ever produced! She deserved the Dada Phalke Award more than Asha Parekh and Waheeda Rahman!
Padmini is the far better dancer - but in movies she loses to Vyjayanthi From what I heard Vy was a pain to work with - once she got famous she stopped being nice and was rude to everyone - she might have burned some bridges there

Other actors learnt dance just for their film career, but Vyjayantimala's love for classical Bharatanatyam dance is still intact, that is why she celebrated her 90th birthday by giving a dance performance to her audience! She was the first southern superstar, who paved the way for other actors down south! Getting or not getting awards or big honours is a destiny!
