As a person that struggles with immense anxiety, while watching this, I haven’t felt this sense of peace in a very long time. I started to cry because it’s a feeling of peace I’ve missed for years. I don’t know what it was exactly? I think it was the quotes that really got me, and how, no matter what we are going through that we must continue to be grateful regardless. Anyone that struggles with anxiety knows what it feels like not to be able to take a full breath from your diaphragm. Something happened, and I can breathe deeply now. A connection happened and I feel at peace. Namaste 🙏
Happy to hear that! Maybe you should watch what you’re engaging into. If watching this can put you easy peace, I think other things can have the opposite effect on you. I also felt like this was a breath of fresh air and I think for me it was to see the patience and acceptance of the moment Deepak brought with him. You know what they say, the eye of the tornado is always the safest point. When anxiety is your tornado then you will always be safe within your body and soul. Right now I have this image in mind, where I see the storm raging outside but you’re still with closed eyes and no fear of the storm, then it will not affect you and eventually go away. I guess what I‘m thinking of is the fear of fear and there the answer on bravery fits.
If you felt that in a 9 minute interview, you should def listen to his podcast and interviews, especially with Oprah! They were a game changer to me and I hope they become one for you too!
Indians are so knowledgeable and highly intellectual! They have wealth of knowledge about mind, soul, Ayurveda, and about life. Was so peaceful to listen to Deepak.
What I respect about Deepak is that he doesn't retreat from the Worldly responsibiliies, in other words he doesn't go in hiding and just focus on Spiritual only, he has a good balance between the World and Spirit. Everything in the Universe is in equilibrium.
Ellen seemed more open, receptive and authentic in this episode that I've ever seen her. I hope Deepak answered some questions that help her move in a very positive, creative, healthy direction as she leaves the show and goes forward in her life.
Oprah's show was so phenomenal in ways because it had so guests like Deepak. I would love for Ellen to bring in therpaeutic people like Deepak. It would be a amazing given the influence Ellen's show has.

I just met a person who is the assistant of the assistant of a surveyor, and we got talking about stuff like fights between family members for inheritance, and he started talking about ego, I think I can get the same pleasure by talking to a common man or woman, as Ellen gets from interviewing Depp or Jolie. Hope that makes sense.
