I loved Absolver much more, although it get's monotonic quicker. They should make Absolver 2, with deeper story, etc. Or make a medieval China game, like Age of Wushu, Swordsmen X, etc.
Sifu was honestly such an amazing game, the developers really did a great job. Howie’s music was also some of the best video game music ive ever heard. Huge respect to everyone on the team
All this game needs is a survival mode or something similar, maybe an arena? See how long you last against waves of different enemies coming at you, would be the perfect addition.
I'd rather have more levels and more unique enemies. Arena gameplay gets rather tedious, since you always stay in one place. Take Darksiders 3 Crucible DLC for example

I'd honestly pay good money for co-op multiplayer of this. My friends and I are dying to have us all fight side by side. Maybe then the arena idea would be much more worth it. Beat em up games are aren't as common anymore. This could easily be one of the best ones on top of what it already is.

Other fighting games seem so arcady and trash compared to the fluidness of Sifu. I hope this game gets a DLC or a sequel, cause I'm having a blast! Made it all the way to The Tower but decided to start over from The Slums again since I was already 48yrs old. I want to try to make it there at least at 28yrs old.
In France, the devs said in the interview that the game will receive content in the future (dlc more exactly), the next thing that is coming soon are the Chinese voices
I made it out to sanctuary with 20 years old with 26h play time. The game is hard but the rewarding feeling when you flawlessly end a run with no deaths is unreal.
@@morukuser returnal was my goty last year and probably in my top 5 all time favorite games. I also got hooked On my challenging games because of souls like games. Except I’ve never actually beaten dark souls lol just bloodborne and sekiro. The dark souls universe doesn’t really mesh with me but I love the gameplay and reward you get with beating a challenging boss. Sifu is gonna be in my top 3 this year for sure. Maybe the top. There is some really good games coming this year though. Horizon being right around the corner.
This game is easily a 10/10. Beautifully designed, simple, yet full of depth, impact-action-packed, and a very rewarding game with a ton of replay ability to master your Kung Fu. Being age 20 fighting Yang feels great! I hope an update comes in to bring additional content.

This is why SIFU is a work of art, I just commented in another video how while playing the game it really felt like the devs knew exactly what they were doing and what they wanted the game to be, and they accomplished it with style (IMO).. I just really loved and enjoyed playing the game, and I just finished the game yesterday at 20 y.o. and I'm in my second run trying to get the good ending, and after that the secret one! Really looking forward to more games from Sloclap and maybe even a DLC for Sifu (even though I feel like the game doesn't necessarily need one)

Truly one of the best games I've ever played. The ability to improvise and create movement is fascinating. I hope the guys at SLOCLAP continue to expand this game with new movements, new scenarios and tougher enemies. The game is REALLY hard but fun at the same time.

The feeling of perfectly parrying enemies' attacks is unbelievable, all enemies jump and push towards you while you can finish them all .. ah 😭😭 The adrenaline flows into my body as I play these games.

The music definitely made me torture the npc's a little longer so I can listen to the beat a little longer! The music partially drives me to become a Sifu!! The game is masterpiece! Every Chinese element in there was so great implemented, that as Chinese could not tell the difference! That is called dedication and passion! The devs are in a way sifu themselves!!! Great Job!!
When I was wondering about why The Tower is very yellow-ish, I thought of the five elements. Then it struck me. Wood - The Squats, greenery and plants. Fire - The Club, the fires and the reds. Water - The Museum with the blue and water. Metal - The Tower with the golden color. Earth - The Sanctuary with all the calming brown. According to the ‘rules’ though, Wood nurtures Fire, Fire nurtures Earth, Earth nurtures Metal, Metal nurtures Water, Water nurtures Wood.

The reason I keep playing this game, same levels, same villains, same everything is because the fighting technique is soooo setisfying.
One the elements that I loved the most was music really gets you in a feeling of vengeance while it's motivational great work seriously !

It seems this year more passionate made games are coming out, and I love it. Sifu and Eldin Ring are THE best examples.

I've been playing this game back and forth. I never get sick of the fighting in it after beating it 1000 times
What people often overlook is how good the music and level design is. This is a lesson for AAA developers who take their audiences for granted.
