Welcome to my channel "COLOURFUL IDEAS". In this video, I am going to show you How To Make Homemade Dry Mango Powder Recipe OR अमचूर पाउडर रेसिपी. The spice made by drying and grinding raw mangoes is called amchur. It is also called raw mango powder. Dry mango is mainly used as a source of dry sourness. It is mostly used in North Indian food. Dry mango is commonly used in marinades for vegetables, curries, chutneys, many hot spices and continental food like fish, chicken etc. It is also used as a thickening agent. Amchur is also used in Punjabi food like Chole, Aloo etc. Its sour taste gives a different taste to the food. By the way, dry mango powder is easily available offline and online in the market, but if you want, you can easily make it at home because homemade things are more pure, unadulterated and safe. You can store it for 1 year in an air-tight container and use it as and when required.
