    Gotta say I'm not really into crawlers but I'll watch just because its you. It does look epic though! My 11 year old kinda likes crawling around the hillside here in KY. I would have loved to have 1 as a kid. So cool.

    That was killer bro !! 👍💯 Yeah I'd say you made a good argument for brushless powa in a crawler setup. That thing is quite impressive, love that Suburban shell. THAT plus the tires..... Daymn....one good looking, very capable rig.... rock on 🤘 with your bad self!! 🍻

      Yeah. I always wanted to try it, so I finally got around to it. I swapped it months ago and it’s been sitting on the shelf.

    Hey nice suburban here n the brushless does have the power/speed but with no brake on it makes it little difficult it looks like and that body style is a '70 or newer because in '69 the parking/turn signals were in the grill in 70 they changed that to the bumper I know this because my Dad had a '69 bought new off show room floor in '69 n we worked on it through out his life time and it was mine after his passing '90 So kinda familiar with body styles n that pickup.. So far I'm diggn the channel now my beard aint as long but it does show my age Cant wait till next vid drop but in mean time I'll see all you've dropped got nuttn but time n $ Thanks for Reading PEACE

    Digging the videos man. Love the laid back style. Would you consider doing a team corally Mammoth or moxoo review? Would be great to see your take on that rig.

    I've thought about doing this too. I think the gearing helps out a lot with the slow speed brushless twitches. I was also thinking that no drag brake would be more scale in many situations. I wonder if you could set up dual rates on a programmable transmitter to sort of simulate a 2 speeds transmission for slow speed detail vs higher speed trail runs.

    • @10thScaleGarage
      @10thScaleGarage  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If you have a transmitter that supports it you could. I don’t miss the drag brake.

    • @matth9359
      @matth9359 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@10thScaleGarage I was going to ask if you missed it. Good to know. It seems like it would be more realistic having to hold the brake yourself on descents

    Best way to check out if it's waterproof 😂😂 just roll it to the river
    The only thing i would do was getting some weight on it, it would not be so bounce and would give a bit more traction on those tires

      I have some heavy rigs. My TRX4 and Gen7 are pretty heavy. I’m going to try and keep this one light.

    Might be a good time to show us how to waterproof a non waterproof esc... Though, admittedly, your system did hold up just fine in that dip in the pond... 😉

    Cool. Bout to put brushless in my Gen 8 to make it a MUDBOGGER FROM HELL. Gotta finish the lift kit, waitin on metal 2.2 wheels for my mudslingers. Got a 5700 kv brushless system for it. Wanna c how high I can get it to throw mud. "WHEELSPEED" Did the dip hurt the Ascender???

    How was the cogging? I am assuming it wasnt sensored of course! Also what size pinion and spur were you running? What is the link to the brushless system? I am thinking of going brushless in my TRX4 Blazer!

      Hmm. Interesting. Mine works great. The gen8 axe comes with a brushless system out of the box. Kevin Talbot has a 6S castle system in his TRX-4 and it rips.
