    how long will the battery before we need to change to the replacement battery? And is the battery compatible with roborox battery as i could not find Roidmi's battery in the market from where i live

    • @neilyville
      @neilyville  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      regarding battery life as per general information batteries may start to degrade its 100% performance as early as 1.5 to 2 years but still its usable, it's just that the battery capacity would be lesser, example full charge is 3hrs operation probably it will fall to 2.5hrs operation.
      Regarding battery type if it is same as roborock I can't really answer that, but most probably they are different in shape (I may be wrong), as I tried to review some parts & accessories for comparison (roborock s5 max) everything is different.
      you can mail them your concern regarding batteries & most likely they would answer & provide them in the market in the future.
      Thank you for watching!

    Hello.
    Which is the better vindomi S9 or roidmi eve plus?

    • @neilyville
      @neilyville  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I can't really tell because I never tried viomi S9 before. but having the roidmi eve plus for 5 months I never encountered any problem, at all, just checking the robocleaner like twice a month for tangled hair, though sometimes it caught some small toys or things around the house I never really see anything or hear a sound that is unusual or different from the first day of its use. I replace the dust bag like every 2 months. center roller brush and side spindle brush are still in really good shape. Hope this help, Thank you for reaching out, Please like & subscribe, Cheers!

  • @amiraibrahim5912
    @amiraibrahim5912 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    hi is the dust bag reusable or you need to throw it when it is full?

    • @neilyville
      @neilyville  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      This are disposables but I tried shaking out the dirt's & using tweezer to empty the dust bag, some how it works fine but I'm pretty sure it will lessen the suction pressure from time to time as it clogs the pores of the dust bag.
      Hope this help, Thank you for watching!

    How is the mopping? Is it good? I'm mostly looking to swap my old Xiaomi first gen robot because I need mopping and other robots wasn't looking good except roborock s7 but its expensive. What about this eve plus? Thanks

    • @neilyville
      @neilyville  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      IMHO, mopping feature is good for light dirt & for maintaining, for heavy stains better use the traditional mop. never encountered any leak and the auto detection on not wetting the carpet is good. mop pattern can be overlapping straight line (like passing 3-4 times every line) or Y pattern mopping.
      if to compare it to S7, ROIDMI EVE PLUS for me has the bigger advantage, more cheaper, front spin brush is 2 pcs and longer (reach further on corners), the HEPA filter is more bigger (longer life in clogging) and the dust bin collector (checking this like only twice a month)
      running this for almost 6 months never encountered any problem.
      Hope this help, Cheers!
      (I'm planning to make another video this June - after 6 months of use on how did it perform. )

      @neilyville  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you, great review. In comparison with the S5 Max, does it have any disadvantages?
      *** On the center roller brush things can get caught up or stuck like small toys, hair clips, long paper trimmings, thin cords like mobile phone chargers.
      *** Mop feature is only good in maintaining the floor from light dirts & stains, for heavy cases better to use a traditional mop.
      Also, does it get stuck on carpets sometimes?
      *** for the past 2 months I see it get stuck on carpets but rarely happens. (this depends on what type of carpet you have)

      @@neilyville I have a medium pile carpet. Does the Roidmi get stuck on carpets more than the S5 Max?

    • @neilyville
      @neilyville  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@Dwight784 Since I don't have an S5 MAX I can't directly answer that, but based on my experience I rarely see it get stuck on carpets. I may suggest putting a virtual wall on the carpet part where it gets stuck frequently so it would enter the carpet on a different side or angle or put some small double sided adhesive on the part of the carpet where it always gets pushed, Hope this helps, Thank you.

    Is this the best self-empty robot vacuum under 450$/400€?

    • @neilyville
      @neilyville  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      My previous robot vacuum doesn't have dust collector duct, this is my first robot vacuum with dust collector duct, the very obvious advantage of this to my old one is the 2 front spin bristle (my old robot vacuum got only 1)and the suction power is more effective, and very easy to maintain from tangled hair, etc. I've been running ROIDMI more than a month and I never encountered a problem. For me it's a worry free robot vacuum, for the whole month I just check it twice for some tangled hair (I'm not using mop function). Hope this help, Thank you for reaching out.

    How is the mopping?

    • @neilyville
      @neilyville  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      IMHO, for heavy stains and dirt it's still better to use a traditional mop, the mop function is just good for maintaining the floor from light dirt and stain, it will make an overlapping pattern when mop function is activated, (its like making 2 mop passes on every parallel pattern it makes). Or you can repeat the cleaning process on a certain area / spot via ROIDMi CLEANER App. Water refilling depends on how big is the area same with the maintenance of the mop Pad (I'll be making another video for that).
