One of the clearest examples of adding single rib stitch to your crochet and I’ve watched a lot of them!😊

Thank you. I love when the instructions tell me why something is done. You take the time to show us up close on some of the areas that give us the most trouble. Kudos.

Thank you, THANK you! I can't even estimate how many times I tried doing this and kept making the same mistakes! You've solved it for me. I really appreciate your step by step instructions and extreme close ups of the right-and-wrong places to put the hook!
One other thing that I did a few times that you don't address here, because you're working in the round was that more than once I was concentrating so hard on the instructions that I found I was attaching the ribbing along the LONG edge, NOT along the short end. To solve that for me, I attached a marker on the edge I wanted to attach to, which got me started on the correct edge.

BEAUTIFUL EXPLANATION of why the brim may be wavy. THANK YOU for taking the few extra second to show where to place the slip stitch and to actually pull the stitch apart to show where the first (missed) slip stitch is. I am a visual learner and now (following your video) I feel confident i can add a brim to a top down hat!

Thank you so much. You're the first instructor to tell me to chain one after my 2nd slip stitch and also to chain one after I worked back up the rib. You are very clear and easy to understand. My Grandmother taught me to chrochet when I was very little now I'm retired and it's a wonderful skill.

Thank you so much for this tutorial. I needed to attach a waistband to a crocheted skirt and I found this very well-explained, perfectly zoomed in and lit video. I also like the detail of single crocheting through both loops at the edges of the ribbing to give it a finished look. Perfection!

I made a hat to pattern but it ended up being too short for the person i made it for. Instead of frogging i thought a ribbing might work and this video just took me from "whaaaaat am i doing!?" To "oh yeh so simple" well explained, appreciate you taking the time to point out common missteps, thank you kindly

Thank You! I've been trying to find a way to add ribbing to the top of baby cocoons I make ... and then there was you!! I only wish you had shown how to put them together at the end. I'm sure I'll be able to find a tutorial for that. Best thing I've done was to purchase the PASS for your site. I'm addicted to making your patterns. My next project is Eva Cardigan ... Fabulous!! TYVM 👏👏⛄💖😀

OMG! I have been trying to find something like this for the past few months I even email a crochet follower if she knew of a technique from the top to bottom, and I've never got a response so I had to figure it out myself, and oh my gosh I figured out something exactly like this, so as a 'Newbie' in crochet i could say that I'm proud of myself for figuring it out. Thanks you so much!!!! I'm a beginner :) and I have started to do by myself my first mittens. The problems is that I started on the top and I didn't know how to make the ribbng section, cause in most of the videos, they start on the top. So, you gave me the solution!!!! Just one thing, can you show me how to end it? I mean, how do you put together the opposites?
Sorry if I made a grammar mistake, but English isn't my mother tongue.
    Hope you can help me!
