Day 923: 9th July 2024 | Part 2 | Juice is unwell, so my trip has been postponed ...

I even look exhausted in the thumbnail 😅
I received a message from Juice saying that he is really ill and has put his back out. Yet, he still offered to come and help me, which is incredible but not something I'd accept. His health is more important 😊
In all truthfulness, I have instinctively known that I would not be leaving tomorrow. Turns out my intuition was right, so I'm not disappointed. In fact, I think I am more relieved. I have been pushing myself to make myself want to go, even though deep down I think it was beyond strange that I was going to leave the day before getting my test results back 🤨
I also think, or more to the point, I know, I need to have a day to rest completely before starting the 26-hour drive. I only plan to stop overnight a couple of times, hopefully. No more than three nights would be great 😁
Not only am I completely and utterly exhausted, but it's raining here in Melbourne, Australia, today. Definitely not the right weather to be packing my car 🌧
Now that I'm going to be here until Juice can help me after work on Saturday, I don't think I'm going to go out today. Everything I was going to do today can be done tomorrow. I just need to call the guy who has fixed my shoe that I'll be in tomorrow to pick it up 🙂
I could honestly go back to sleep, I reckon, but for now, I am going to continue reading nosleep stories on reddit and then maybe find something to watch ☺️
