I just learned something; I never knew what this cadence was in classical music: going to the V7 chord of the key a half step up. Love that sound! Know I know; great idea for a warm-up play along; mucho thanks.
Hi; it's the exercise that starts on 2:38 on the vid. the pattern on each two measures is: I-V7, I - bVI7, which is the new dominant of the pattern a half step up. So it starts: C -G7, C- Ab7, the Ab7 being the dominant of the new key of Db, and so forth. If I have this wrong, please correct me; I'm not at a keyboard, it's just how I'm hearing it. The Cesar Franck symphony uses this to good effect. Again, do correct me if I'm wrong; I'm always learning.
I just discovered this video a few minutes ago and it is awesome, I am not a beginner.

Which chord progression are you speaking about?
I got really curious, but somehow I cannot understand what you meant 😅
