About the video: This is a great punching variation that combines power and speed. It's incredibly effective, and can be developed quite easily by anyone looking to build upon basic martial arts techniques.
About me: I've been a martial arts instructor for many years, and have taught members of the military, law enforcement, corrections, security, and the general public in both the United States and abroad. On the unarmed side, I focus on five main ranges (kicking, trapping, striking, kicking, grappling, and ground). These incorporate a variety of techniques from many different systems and styles. The basic rule is to use what works for you, and ignore the rest.

My father did 4 years of karate as a young man graduating out of high school. He ended up working with a guy he became good friends with who was from a family of boxers. He almost went pro. Ive got to know his step son a little better and we talk about and share knowldege about boxing and karate. My dads style he took there was alot of emphasis on snap for every move especially punching. Although internet martial arts and combat sports wise it hasnt been till the last couple of years ive come across more videos talking about snapping your punches. Red chucks is a heavyweight and he says heavyweights dont need to put all there power into every punch. My dads old friend step son is an average sized man hes in shape though. Im not in the wolds best shape but im larger and teller then the average man along with arms that are a little bigger and weigh more than the average persons arms that doesnt have alot of muscle weight in there bicep. Cool video man.

Mate where did you those Fairtex gloves from? Did you customise the US flag on the wrist strap or did it come like that? Great tutorial btw.
