Recently I have been going through different situations, but in these months, God has made me feel that he allows many things so that we learn to worship him also in the most difficult moments. it has been difficult but I know that God will soon come to my rescue.

In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord, high and exalted, seated on a throne; and the train of his robe filled the temple. Above him were seraphim, each with six wings: With two wings they covered their faces, with two they covered their feet, and with two they were flying. And they were calling to one another: “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord Almighty; the whole earth is full of his glory.” At the sound of their voices the doorposts and thresholds shook and the temple was filled with smoke. “Woe to me!” I cried. “I am ruined! For I am a man of unclean lips, and I live among a people of unclean lips, and my eyes have seen the King, the Lord Almighty.” Then one of the seraphim flew to me with a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with tongs from the altar. With it he touched my mouth and said, “See, this has touched your lips; your guilt is taken away and your sin atoned for.” Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?” And I said, “Here am I. Send me!” He said, “Go and tell this people: “ ‘Be ever hearing, but never understanding; be ever seeing, but never perceiving.’ Make the heart of this people calloused; make their ears dull and close their eyes. Otherwise they might see with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their hearts, and turn and be healed.” Then I said, “For how long, Lord?” And he answered: “Until the cities lie ruined and without inhabitant, until the houses are left deserted and the fields ruined and ravaged, until the Lord has sent everyone far away and the land is utterly forsaken. And though a tenth remains in the land, it will again be laid waste. But as the terebinth and oak leave stumps when they are cut down, so the holy seed will be the stump in the land.”

I saw the Lord seated on His throne
He was clothed in glory, Exalted high
And the train of His robe, filled the temple
The Angels circled 'round Him and cried,
You are Holy, oh so Holy; You are holy Lord of all
You are Holy, oh so Holy; You are holy Lord of all
And woe is me for I'm unclean
For my eyes have seen the holy King
And He cleansed my lips right before I died
And the pillars shook as the angels cried
    "Holy is the Lamb"
Holy holy holy, Lord God Almighty!

Idol worship!! Speaking in tongues out of context! Not so much this video but an over look at what the upper room is promoting in their videos!! What’s the point of the white ghost........?? Another video a lady is dancing worshiping a jar full of oil or water! This new age church is trying way to hard to make Christ cool!! He is already the coolest guy on the block! We need to mold the culture to Christ and not the other way around!!

@@tylerh1163 I can see where you might think these things under a religious context, but half the time I don't watch their videos so I'm not paying attention to the symbolism being used. I just listen to the music, lyrics, what those represent, and what is being prayed for within the Upperroom church itself. Although I do agree with you that there should be more love and not just within the body of Christ but showing it to those outside the body of believers as well.
To touch on idol worship, the way I see it is that there's symbolism and idolatry. We see both all throughout the bible, and there are clear examples of how symbols could become idols (look at the bronze snake which healed people and then later on was worshipped Numbers 21:6-8 & 2 Kings 18:4). The same way some people today only worship the cross and not our savior Jesus, who died upon it. The cross didn't die for our sins, Jesus did and He is worthy of our worship, not the physical cross itself (yet we see that symbol all over the place as a reminder of what He did).
Like wise, Upperroom uses heavy symbolism mostly through interpretive dance. The "white ghost" is a visual representation of the Holy Ghost for example in this video. It's not that they are worshiping the white sheet or the person dancing cloaked in it, but the actual person who is the Holy Ghost. For the other video, it very well could have been a jar of oil. Olive oil is a symbol of anointing (it was applied to kings of the old testament as a sign that they were chosen by God to rule, this is found in 1st Samuel 16). If they were doing this week after week and making reference directly to these objects I would be concerned.
For religious contextual purposes, I may be wrong, but I believe the Upperroom church as a whole is Pentecostal in their denominational beliefs which "praying in tongues" or "praying in the Spirit" is a big part of that denomination. Depending on how you view and what the Holy Spirit has revealed to you about 1 Cor. 13:1, 1 Cor. 14, Romans 8:26-27. The problem with modern Christianity and religion in general is that there is a huge lack of knowledge (Hosea 4:6), because the knowledge gained is mainly coming from man and not by reading the Word of God. When you read the Bible for yourself and spend time in it, truths are revealed to you through the Holy Spirit and there is no substitute for this. I could write for hours on this, but no one would read it and some would get offended and I'd rather not do that (there are already too many offended people living in the world).
All of this is creating a huge division that is being released amongst believers and that division is exactly what Satan wants. This is much like the Pharisees and Sadducees in the old testament where some believers can not accept God's nature and only his text. Everyone has their own convictions though and if it convicts you then don't watch it, but don't bring condemnation upon others unless there is a clear and present danger that could definitively lead them away to worship the symbol. We should be about unity and unifying the body of Christ, not obsessing over the semantics of praying in tongues or how people choose to worship.
The bottom line is if it glorifies God and not man, be it through symbolism, symbolic acts or edification, there is no harm. If worship begins to glorify anything other than God The Father, God the Son or God the Holy Spirit... that's a problem. If it's preaching another gospel other than Jesus Christ, that's a problem. So far I have not seen that from what is coming out of Upperroom.

Agree!! If the spirit does not line up with the word it’s the wrong spirit!! Also tongues in my opinion is fine if in the right context. Paul is clear it’s pointless and meaningless without an interpreter and All things must be done properly and in a orderly way commanded by God 1 Corinthians 14. Also Paul is clear women should not be speaking in a church setting
