Those insects will keep returning until you create a gutter around the snail pen. Those insects are in search of shade and food. They are usually not harmful to snails but they compete with them over feed and become a nuisance to the snails.
Very interesting... how do I create the gutter? I mean I have two pens as well and 4 set of tyres where I rear snails. What I do on monthly basis is digging one feet hole and pour red palm oil round the holes. This will attract the soldiers ants and insects around and I apply hot water to kill them. Back to the gutter.. I'm still searching for a video that expatiates on this so that I can do same!
Very interesting video. I think I learned something from you. I appreciate you but my question is: where do you Transfer or keep the snails temporarily for the one week before returning the snails back to the pens? Thank you. I've also learned something from you as well - The red palm oil method you use. To answer your question, I keep them in a cool spot in my backyard veranda, covered with big plastic basket to allow ventilation.
Nice job,keep it up
Thank you!
Well-done Sir. Please, do the snails grow with their shells?

The small ant can ham the snail when they get into the pen
