I like how you interview during a game of chess. I think it's intentional to not let him focus fully on the game, so it's really only first degree playing. That is not the fully focused Alireza playing in competition, just a date... Alireza is rare kind guy compared to other chessplayers.

What do you think about Richard Rapport's style? You should do an interview with him. He just recently moved up to #10. People constantly sleeping on him, but he's a beast.
It's funny that he says about talent, because he was once asked if how much time he invested in chess, and he said about 12 hours a day, and that he was always thinking about chess.
Did Alireza get a nice home-cooked meal after the games? Very nice to see two civilized players not trash talking or screaming. Chess is almost like wrestling, in modern media.
Wow chess is so weirdly hard man, I mean nemsko is like 2300/2400 right? And alireza is like 2700/2800 and yet they can Nemo can get an equal position for so long, I'm 1500 and I get amazed how fast they can spot tactics, I also got so happy when the gms played some of the moves I would play, especially in the middle game and improving moves.
What type of material is the board ? I’ve been looking on the internet and I’m unsure what type of board to buy ( that’s affordable 😂) . This board looks really nice tho , is there a link to buy it ? Any help will be much appreciated
At 11:04 Did u resign because he was gonna checkmate or were u just down too many pieces? I see a possible checkmate line if u played Rxa2 but if you played Rxe3 then that line doesn’t really work. If it was because of the checkmate can u share the line?
