Thats how it works, you get used to that accent in a couple days, give them some time to get back, another couple days and they are back to normal. It's just an accent exploration trait they acquire.
....yeah me too but...this is about NRI aka non resident indians. these are people who dont live in india and live aborad for most of the time. so them getting a accent is more than common.

Welll if they are born there, then there is a reason for that. Or if they have been staying there for like 10 years or more...Their immune system does behave differently. But if they just went there for few months or an year and they behave with fake accent and all, then it becomes irritating. But such people are very few in number. Usually an NRI is more into Indian things then us.

As a NRI, I can say these are over exaggerated stereotypes. I loose jet lag in 1 day, I can digest Indian street food better than any of my cousins in India, eat more spicy food than my anyone in my family, and speak fluent Hindi. NRI parents are quite adamant about preserving culture.
