Squad is a CPU intensive game, there’s not much room for improvement settings wise (but try both DX11 and DX12 first). If you can, plan to upgrade to a better CPU
If your internet is decent or good, then I suggest switching to Geforce Now. I, myself, was playing on i5 7300 hq, 1050 gpu 16 ram getting same fps as you. But then somehow got free trial of Geforce Now and it's actually really good.

The turks have the worst armor; they have to be working in close coordination with infantry--which is super difficult to do in this game.

Im playing on an RX580 8gb and a ryzen 5 1600 and I get around 40-60 frames
