The addition of an additional stage of the XP event and Zeni events are interesting because you can do both of them. I do not know how much more zeni the second stage of that event gives you but the second stage of the XP event gives you 65K XP for three that are fighting. Add to that the 45K XP from the first stage of the event and you can get a total of *110K XP a day* meaning that if you have the resources you can take a sparking character from level 1 to 1000 in roughly 10 days only doing the XP event.
I remember when ULs and stuff weren't even existent as ideas in the game Most persons used shallot in PvPs and there were no best players everyone was still learning about the game and rising rush was the only way to kill someone

Well your piccolo was lvl 1000 and the only fair card against that was shallot and he was trash but that 3rd dude lol and broly is just a strong card but his main ability attack can miss when it should hit it’s weird so just make sure you confirm it even if they used there vanish
