Hmm missing the biggest part of Rigveda-Brahman. To put it in English then God. Look up the Nasadiya Sukta. It's a hymn from The Rigveda that talks about how Brahman came to be and describes what oddly sounds like the Big Bang. Regardless The Rigveda goes into Brahman, why it decided to make the universes, why it decided to make the devi devta starting with the Trimurti (Brahma (note the similarity in name), Vishnu and Shiva), why it gave them power, why it took power from some (Indra for example), why we were created, how he were created, where we return to, etc. It's called the foundation of Hinduism for a reason. Hindus today are so focused on the supervisors (devi devta) that they forget about the founder (Brahman).

Not biggest but the only part(brahman)
This is not the ultimate but THE ONLY MESSAGE OF NOT ONLY RIGVEDA BUT ALL VEDAS AND UPANISHADS AND ALSO OF SHANKARACHARYA
Edit : don't mistake brahman for "Brahmin cast" former is a sort of god and the latter is cast we all know.

To describe Bhrahman is difficult but thanks to our Rishis we have a amazing mantra for understanding. Search for the mantra " Om Purnam Adha Purnam Edham" with english meaning. You will definitely understand Bhrahman. Jai sri Ram 🕉️

As some one whonhas read the rig veda, this is the worst explanation ever. This is why you read on your own and not depend on weirdos to explain. The rig veda's translation is free for everyone to read on google books. The 1850 translation from H. H wilson is available for free and its a good translation.

From my own personal experience, if anyone thinks they are smart enough to understand Vedas by just reading translation of shlokas , they are kidding themselves. Without reading commentaries and Vedangas, no one can understand Vedas. A shlok describes water cycle but it was so vague that I had to read commentary to understand what that particular shloka actually trying to say. So i hope all haughty people who have just read translations and claim to understand Vedas are pure narssicists. 😒 That's why gurus were important in Vedic times, without them students couldn't understand the science behind the shlokas.

The Rig Veda has 10,552 mantras grouped into 1028 suktas or hymns each having roughly ten mantras.
The suktas are further grouped into 10 mandalas.
Rig veda has only Rik mantras which have a metrical structure. Of these 2456 mantras are in the well known Gayatri meter ( The popular Gayatri mantra is also in this meter).
As per Shri Aurobindo Ghosh , Rik is the mantra of divine consciousness. Its brings its light of revelation.
There are around 400 rishis in the rig veda of whom atleast 25 are women.
The Yajur Veda primarily consists of Yajus mantras which are rhythmic phrases not set to any particular meter ( Unlike Rig Veda)
The popular Taittiriya Samhita of Krishna Yajur Veda has around 4773 mantras , of which around 2/3 rd are yajus mantras ( rest are Riks)
The Yajur Veda deals with Yajna or rituals to appease devatas
The Sama Veda consists of Riks with the added dimension of music.
The Atharva veda has 5987 mantras grouped into 730 suktas and 20 Kandas ( Chapters)
Most of the mantras were revealed to the lineage of Rishis Atharva and Angirasa.
It contains knowledge of healing, construction (Vastu) and societal conduct amongst others
There are three types of Vedic Mantras
1.Rik - Mantras set to a particular meter like Gayatri
2.Yajus - Mantras in Prose form not in any particular meter
3.Saaman - Mantras used for singing
Rig Veda Samhita has only Rik mantras, Yajur Veda Samhita has both Yajus and Rik mantras , Sama Veda Samhita has Saman mantras while Atharva Veda Samhita consists mainly of Riks and some Yajus.
    Thanks.

Earlier ancient Indian events seem to be apparently WRIITTEN much later as 5500 BCE Rigveda apparently seems to be written in 1500 BCE; the 5100 BCE Ramayana seems to be written in 1600 AD. However, if we consider Harappan script from 5500 BCE in pottery shreds (for Vedic fire worship use having names of Vedic deities on these) and Avatar Rama's Guru named Vashist and another wise man called Rishi VISHAV-MITRA (not Vishav-Karma); both enjoy status of famous authors of RIGVEDA.
The Rigveda that mentions mighty flowing SARASWATI and network of 7 rivers during times of 8000 BCE to 2000 BCE. Thus, Rigveda cannot be written by ARYANS of 1500 BCE as Sarswati had already dried up by 2000 BCE.
Rig-Veda mention no TRADITIONAL HOLY PLANT OF CASPIAN SEA rather HOLY PEEPAL that surprisingly limited to INDIA & MYANMAR.
MISSING INDO- EUROPEAN MOTHER SCRIPT is possibly the HARAPPAN WRITINGS (5500 BCE to 2000 BCE) AS WELL AS HARAPPAN ARTIFECTS that contains DATTA-TREYA AND RELATED (TRI-MUKHI PASHUPATI SEALS ALL OVER HARAPPA; MOHENJODARO; BANAWALI; DHOLAVIRA; KALIBANGA; SANAULI) CHARACTERS ALL OVER RIGVEDIC KINGS (YAYATI; KING YADU WHO HAD DATT-ATREYA AS HIS TEACHER); VEDIC RISHI ATRI & DATT-ATREYA & AVATAR PARSHURAM CONNECT; VEDIC RISHI ATRI & MA ANASUYA HAVING AVATAR RAMA & MA SITA CONNECT ETC ETC.
THE SCRIPT USED FOR WRITING SANSKRIT IN Ancient times WAS CALLED MAGADHI SCRIPT [AFTER CAPITAL CITY OF MAGADH that was ruled by Brihadratha dynasty, Pradyota dynasty (682-544 BCE), Haryanka dynasty (544-413 BCE), and the Shaishunaga dynasty (413-345 BCE; NANDA DYNASTY KINGS; CHANDER GUPT MAURYA; KING ASHOKA].
MAGADHI SCRIPT OVER TIME GOT MODIFIED NEED BASED HAVING REGIONAL VARIANTS CALLED WESTERN, EASTERN AND CENTRAL. THERE WERE DIFFERENCES AS IN USE OF स,श,ष etc.
The Magadhi was used to write different dialects like Sanskrit, Prakrit and Pali. It is important to note that Prakrit and Pali were both composite dialects; that is a mix of Sanskrit and local dialects.
IT IS MENTIONED IN SRI LANKAN HOLY BUDDHIST TEXT that BUDDHA TEACHINGS in writing were brought to SRI LANKA by BUDDHA MISSIONARIES when Buddha was alive around 600 BCE. THUS, MAGADHI WAS ALL OVER ASIA BY 500 BCE and later gave rise to very many Indian scripts that are related to ALPHA SYLLABRY (never found in ENGLISH or LATIN or GREEK or PHONECIAN scripts). These include Malayalam, Hindi, Bangali, Punjabi, Sharda, Kutila, Pahari, Oriya etc etc

There are a lot of Daawat videos from muslims sprouting out recently- demeaning Hinduism and Christianity and inviting people to Islam.
Their logic is simple- they always target Hinduism on the idol worship aspect and say all sorts of things to idol worship. But, what they don't know is, there is another sect in Hinduism that doesn't worship idols. They worship the NIR-AAKARA BRAHMAN (formless God). Those people just target Hinduism, but they don't usually say the positives that are there in their religion Islam. I feel so pity for them. If they think they can convert Hindus this way,.... all the best, that's what i can say. One Shankaracharya was enough to bring Sanathana back to its glory. Today, every awakened Hindu is a Shankaracharya. Those poor people don't know this and most of their subscribers are actually muslims who get sort of mental orgasm seeing them target Hinduism. 😂😂

Respect and reverence for Elements of Natural Forces seems to be a logical outcome of human mind when the survival and safety of life are no longer the basic issues as humans progressed, societies evolved, agriculture developed, civic life became organised, and societies were stable. The mind evolves differently in case of each individual, and some, who are not self-seeking, self-centred, self-indulgent, and egoistic, are naturally capable of rising beyond the physical needs of the body and reflect upon questions like who are we, how are we related to Nature which is so powerful and self-generating, and essential for all forms of life, how big is the world, apart from the Sun and the Moon, what are the vast number of shining objects in the night sky, and how all these entities, including life and human beings came into existence and such related questions. The realisation of the dependence of life on Nature, and the fragility of life in this world, the mystery of human mind may have driven these kinds of minds to deeply contemplate and seek answers to these questions may have led to the Vedas and the concept of praying these natural forces that life may be free from want, pain, and safe.

What a bunch of BS he is spewing. He has no idea what is meant by Agni. People, please don't fall for it. Do your own research on Vedas. For example, Agni is not a God. Agni has a lot of meanings. One of them is that it's a gunvachak name of Ishwar. Ishwar is called as Agni in various aspects for example because Ishwar is most important it is called as Agni, for example Ishwar is the creator of Universe as we see it, it is called as Agni, etc.

Rig veda was the first religious text of the Vedic peoples ,cattle breeders who migrated from Central Asia to India. They were worshippers of elements like fire, water, wind etc. The present Hinduism is far different from the Vedas. It is a result of mixing of vedic culture with various other pre vedic religions/beliefs that existed before the Aryan migration.

    Invoking natural elements.
    What does this really mean?
Rigved heats or cools the body if needed. (Ice and Fire do the same)
Invoking the natural elements is what's in the Rigved. (Can we test if something is invoked and it has come to realization in the physical world?)
Bhajans and their effects: (any good music is the same if created with the intent of producing a calm.)
So if Rigved is just good music then what's so special about it?
If Rigved has Mantra that can invoke certain God they why don't we see public demonstration. Because these were the same Mantras that were used to invoke in the past.
I still don't understand what Rigved is though.

Brothers! Sisters! Let it resonate: The Vedas echo truth! Truth is indeed One! Yet, heed the wisdom of Upanishads (Brihadaranyaka) and Genesis (2:18): it is not good to be alone! Thus, Krishna and Jesus stand validated, urging us to embrace love for one another! Why? Because we are manifestations of the same essence, diverging only to experience love in life's myriad forms! I cherish you, brother! I cherish you, sister! Let us sing. Let us dance. Let us laugh and be like children again!!!

Every thing in this universe is made of pancha bootas. The word prapanch means made of 5 elements. Every substance in this universe has a composition of these 5 elements. These pacha bootas are types of energy adn dont confuse it with the physical Earth, Fire, Water, Air and Eather. For example the physical visible fire we see by buring a gas stove has a composure of around 80-90% Agni element and 10-20 % vayu element. Then I was thinking why the vayu element came in to picture and realized that the fire is a mixture of gas and oxygen buring and hence teh vayu element is coming. The Air we breathe has a composition of all the 5 elements. Similarly you can check this composition in a person and it relates to his/her behavior. A person with majority Earth element is very materialistic in character - more attached to wordly pleases. A person with predominant Akash tatva is of more spiritually evolved nature. By regular prayer and acts of love you can change this composition or chnaging of composition is a result of your thoughts, words and actions. Every element has its influence in varing aspects of our life. All devatas are within us. s you can see the lord Indra in the begining of Shivapuran is full of jelousy and less control of his senses, but as he evloves and towards the end he becomes very spiritually matured. Same way the Indra within us will us have the behavior of the Indra according to the state of evolution of our soul. In a way the behavior of the devatas in the mythology is true based on our state of evolution. All divinity is within. WHat is in macrocosm is in microcosm as well. Having the complete perspective is important to understand vedas.

Nice summary of the Rveda, good start, but how mantra can be used to invoke babies/arrow is bullshit! One thing i understood is rigveda people who wrote it knew yoga and meditation, so they understood body internals and their funtions very well. Using mantra is a science of imagination, visualization and sound, also ritualistic practice makes their sensory network or nerve system very robust, so people become intelligent! also can recieve and hand more info. Like ordinary computer vs super computer.
Vedic wisdom helped to creat better humans, is really wonderfull gift for the civilization.
Regarding invoking babies meant, again science of imagination and visualization, just imagine a hero in the movie/or hero of mahabarath etc, you get in to the character. makes your body hormone works efficiently, and create best environment / host to bear the babies. Just compare to babies born this way vs born in war torn areas with so much traumas !
I still bow down to who wrote Vedas! Who preach vedhas needs to practice meditation to understand better !

No one wrote the Vedas. Here's how Maharishi explained it to us: He said all four Vedas are apaurusheyabhashya, which means "uncreated by man". They are not invented but are rather cognized by the ancient Seers whose awareness was so elevated they could perceive the finest vibrations that emerge from the infinite silence to create the whole universe. They are the first impulses to arise from infinite silence that is Brahm, the Self. One example: The ancient Seers from the Vedic age meditated together to cognize the laws of nature that gave them the knowledge of Ayurveda -- Vedic medicine. They did not create it, they saw it in their consciousness. This knowledge came from His Holiness Maharishi Mahesh Yogi who is a Maha-Rishi, a Great Seer. He cognized how the first syllable of Rg Ved expanded as the first word and the first word expanded into the first sentence, etc., until he explained how all the four Vedas came from A, then AG, then AGNI. Agni, fire, light. "The great fire at the beginning of the dawn has sprung aloft, and issuing forth from the darkness comes with radiance. Agni, the bright-bodied, as soon as born, fills all dwellings with shining light."

It is not yet deciphered and continues to be interpreted. This guy has a very narrow interpretation of the Vedas.

There are lots of mythical female characters who get pregnant from wind, cloud etc. This does not mean they got pregnant from air, cloud, by mantra and so on. Since the society was matriarchal and marriage institution did not exist. Male character was not mentioned because it was not necessary.
