Paphos sea except blue lagoon and latchi has strong currents and big waves, it could be dangerous... The most beautiful beach of the island is Golden Coast Famagusta, but it's in the buffer zone..
Yes you are right. In Paphos there are more rocky beaches with big waves, because the coast of Paphos is the first to meet the waves coming from the center of the Mediterranean Sea. In Limassol, Larnaca and Ayia Napa, the waves are smaller, and in Protaras even less. But there are some great beaches in Paphos! Waters in Limassol might be muddy but Coral Bay and Coralia in Paphos definitivno arent muddy,as i live in Tala 11years and even Cypriots know that best beaches are in Paphos and Famagusta region(Ayia nappa,protaras,..)
i would just compare coral bay and nissi beach coral bay had little bit of sea weads and golden sand, enough of sunbeds free parking and 4 leg cleaning taps, on the other hand on nissi beach white sand it was overcrowded spend 30minutes finding free sundbed at first around lunch waters were clean but after 3pm it started blowing wind from sea and it began to be disgusting, papers trash plastic had to go away its good for young looking for party but thats it

@@-Ambassador- My beach is in a bay where you would be one of maybe a dozen people maximum at any one time. That you can walk out on Golden/white sands 50 metres before you are out of your depth, the water is always warm and the snorkelling is superb. The fact that it takes an effort to get there, where ordinary cars might struggle, there are no coaches within 5 miles and the sun sets across the sea, rather than behind you, might help as to where it is. But those of us who know it won’t mention its name to keep it as the best beach in Cyprus, bar far!

Fig tree bay always competed with Nissi for the championship! This is definitely a very nice beach, but Nissi has 2 times more white sand! In our opinion, this gives him a slight advantage. On the other hand, Fig tree bay has fewer waves! Choose!

Yes you are right. In Paphos there are more rocky beaches with big waves, because the coast of Paphos is the first to meet the waves coming from the center of the Mediterranean Sea. In Limassol, Larnaca and Ayia Napa, the waves are smaller, and in Protaras even less. But there are some great beaches in Paphos! Waters in Limassol might be muddy but Coral Bay and Coralia in Paphos definitivno arent muddy,as i live in Tala 11years and even Cypriots know that best beaches are in Paphos and Famagusta region(Ayia nappa,protaras,..)

i would just compare coral bay and nissi beach coral bay had little bit of sea weads and golden sand, enough of sunbeds free parking and 4 leg cleaning taps, on the other hand on nissi beach white sand it was overcrowded spend 30minutes finding free sundbed at first around lunch waters were clean but after 3pm it started blowing wind from sea and it began to be disgusting, papers trash plastic had to go away its good for young looking for party but thats it

@@-Ambassador- My beach is in a bay where you would be one of maybe a dozen people maximum at any one time. That you can walk out on Golden/white sands 50 metres before you are out of your depth, the water is always warm and the snorkelling is superb. The fact that it takes an effort to get there, where ordinary cars might struggle, there are no coaches within 5 miles and the sun sets across the sea, rather than behind you, might help as to where it is. But those of us who know it won’t mention its name to keep it as the best beach in Cyprus, bar far!
There is no "northern" Cyprus, only the Republic of Cyprus.
There is only one northern beach I noted in this video - Golden Beach. But it has high position !) I was very impressed of it. Big, clean and warm...
