It’s fun and a very good option for casual players to get some rated PvP experience - glad to have more attention for PvP players always good to get more for your genre
Looks like this will finally be the move that makes pvp gear distribution fair, instead of forcing players into a mode that only a small group of pvpers ever really liked. BGs have always been the main thing in wow pvp and the most fun experience, even when teams are random and you want to curse out all of them, its still better than facing the same old arena comps with the same old tactics every other game, because everyone just copy and paste gear, spec and playstyle... If only they could ever get their act together and slim down the classes kit to something that is less bloated and cooldown heavy, they would be on the right track.
LESS STRESSFUL - This game is old as fuck, I don't feel like getting sweaty just to gear now. I got Glad during Wrath and I almost failed freshman year of collage for it on a scholarship which is when I quit, I'm in my late 30s I don't give a fuck about Try Hard smurf accounts in Arena. I just want to enjoy WoW without being stressed out, and this is perfect.
The elevator music is legit putting me to sleep lol. I work the night shift and on slow nights I get to watch some wow videos. But man your making it hard my boss caught me falling asleep.
It is good however if the conquest gains if it’s not changed will mean you have to win like 100 games to get geared as a win after the first win of the day is about 65 conq I won 10 in a row and only had about 700 conq
"battles without healers are important" Sure, but it feels horrible to be a healer in a zero dampening environment and having no one to heal or at most 1-2 people. Especially as a MW

I'm having a hard time understanding the meta strategies in blitz, but it's definitely fun and gives you more content to play between SS queues. Biggest issue I've been having so far is the RNG of team-mates. As a healer who almost always tops charts, it does nothing when the top 4 damage dealers are on the other team (usually ele shaman :)) But that SHOULD balance itself out more in TWW I'd imagine, right now things are set-up to be balanced at level 80 so there are outliers that will just decimate a lobby. Fun though!
It's to adapt to the game as it's progressing, if you see a Nod open or about to be open figure out who should go based on who is moving there. If nobody is moving, you go there, if 4 are going stay and guard.
10:05 As a mage, leave it alone! As a non-mage, if you don't have LoS through it then they should make it where you can't interact with flags through it either
idk ive only had like... a couple "bad" shuffle games. most of them are pretty close or the winner isn't clear until about halfway through. but most of them never feel like a blowout which is awesome.
Guessing you mean Battlegroundenemies, the addon showing the enemy team on the right side of the screen. You can also add your own team to track trinket cds and dr, quite useful.
@@holycrapdude123 I can't guarantee that you're wrong, but back when I played a lot of rbgs (legion/bfa) the addon looked just like that, and it sounded to me like Venruki was mentioning the addon during the video as well. I believe this might be one of those addons that's had several itterations under different names though, so we might be thinking of the same addon after all, unless you mean to say this is the normal ui.
This vid shows exactly what’s gonna happen. Guys says “just win mid fight” and Ven explains to split and cap all then they all rush mid together anyway. That’s all it’ll ever be.

Great content! P.S. Your "battlegroundenemies" add-on appears to be not settup correctly. Everything is greyed-out indefinitely and is not showing players as appearing brighter when they are within range (basically you are nerfing yourself and reducing awareness of who is in your vicinity, unless you prefer playing that way so the brighter and more solid players in your vicinity do not block that part of the display). I personally find it good to keep both friendly and enemy bars turned on (even for arena) since knowing when one of your friendly healers is in your vicinity, you can know you have less of a chance of dying, etc.) and it shows more info then the built-in native friendly bars.
It's a beautiful spell to play with. That and Arcanosphere. It's giggles when folks line you and you just start channeling this monster ball and they don't know where to run 😂
@@ssaustin21 no not the same wall ability, but something unique like that. I love my shamans static totem that you can move and group people together for example. But I don’t feel like there are many other specs that have things quite like that. My favorite pvp moments have been throwing a healer out of line of sight of his dos behind a pillar with my totem while I take down his dps!

I recorded a moment playing 2s on my mage and I used an ice walk to block a hunters aimshot and we killed the other dps. It wasn’t necessary but it felt epic! All that to be said, if each class had a mechanic like that, I feel like it would take away from the overall satisfaction of pulling off those super clutch moments, and making it more into a core gameplay mechanic that everyone now utilizes a good close to majority of the time

I have every character in the game and I wasn't going to buy this expansion but a friend bought it for me so now I am only going to play the super heroes of the week the entire expansion. Sick to death of trying to stick to a class in a game where knowing a specific class means nothing when versing a brand new player on the hero class
Its nice that youve sticked to your class so we could kill you but in all honesty, i havent had a main in decades. When Ret was op i owned everyone, when locks were op i owned everyone. As yourself i have all classes maxed out and i only play whats op. Im almost 40 with a wife and kids so i really dont have the patiance to wait for patches for my favorite class to become good. Also, it made me a pvp junky since almost every expansion or patch ive picked a different class which made me understand how to play against it! This expansion, it seem ill be mainig my ele shamz and arcane mage aswell as my old favorite boomkin 😅
This is a bit more casual friendly than arena right? I got to 2150 once in DF but don't like how extremely try hard arena is and i'm not up for that season after season 🙃
Question for you veterans, where should a proper green new pvp’er start? I try to learn but I jump into an arena and honestly die within like 30 seconds feeling like I have no idea what’s going on🤣
Always start with world quests to get your ilvl up and Q for bg's while doing them to get your honor points. After that, go to an AH and buy green pvp gear for less than 10k. Always plan what youre buying eg. know what your main stats are and buy the thing that gives you the mosts stats first. Once youre full greens from the AH you start grinding BG's for honor/ full blue gear. After that you just Q for solo shuffle and do every pvp once daily for the daily conquest points. Also, creating some classes and play them to lvl 30'ish makes you understand those classes and how to play against them. Dont stress out too much, one day youll win nearly every pvp game and another day youll suck all day long. Just enjoy and play the game 😅

Maybe they can auto join you to voice chat to make bg blitz more strategic. I liked joining random discords for rbgs you could usually fine some cool groups that were hilarious
I'll bite and play devil's advocate. Blitz will be fun and active for 1 season because it's the new thing, then popularity will drop off of a cliff. Imbalanced class design, bad maps, and limited team strategy/communication (since it's not premade teams) will hold it back. It trades gameplay quality for accessibility/instant gratification, similar to shuffle. This will also negatively impact the current 10v10 RBG bracket and make it less active. If Blizzard instead focused on improving rated battlegrounds, that would be better for PvP in the long run. Then again, maybe their strategy for improving PvP popularity is creating all of these shiny new random game modes (shuffle/plunderstorm/blitz) until WoW runs its course. That's an option too I guess, but soon we'll have so many different game modes that it will get silly.

@@WOW99910 I think what he means is bc it is 8v8 your personal contribution is roughly 12.5% to the game. Meaning the other 5 dps and 2 healers (the 87.5% of the lobby) are random people who you cant control but their performance has more impact on ur rating than your own impact
Yeah but as a healer ill say this is hands down worst que for Me in terms of win loss. Maybe thats cause i duo with a dps so i get a lower mmr team? Not sure. But my teamNEVER does objectives. Just road fight until loss.

I have a very bad experience in rbg. Feels like every game u have no power to change nothing and you are always in the wrong side, always in the "noob team"
Will definitely be playing thia mode, seems fun. However, I guarantee that will be a lot of try hard toxic people, probably more than arena. Rated bgs is already crazy toxic and sweaty
for me tank specs ruin the gamemode tbh. All they do is cc you to capture then survive until the flag is locked then run away, but when i get map with out the capture and hold flag gamemode its fun time
I imagine it will be good on the high or low end, middle is pretty toxic. The duo queue aspect is what chased me away, the advantage they give is taken from the other healers rather than dps so if you want to be competitive as a healer you have to duo queue. Why are they trying to force duo queue on me? Is it just for carries? Regular BGs have gotten better, epics are trash still due to the rampant cheating Blizzard refuses to fix. There's a reason they keep the pvp developer's identity secret.

in the pond scum low elo brackets for sure. Once you make it out and into the higher elo matches ull start to see real objective gamers/strats 1000%.

BG Blitz just seems like random luck. You can't really change the outcome of the games too much yourself like you can in arena.

I have a very bad experience in rbg. Feels like every game u have no power to change nothing and you are always in the wrong side, always in the "noob team"

Just reg pvp. You have to be ilvl515 before you can do rated bgs.

Will definitely be playing thia mode, seems fun. However, I guarantee that will be a lot of try hard toxic people, probably more than arena. Rated bgs is already crazy toxic and sweaty

for me tank specs ruin the gamemode tbh. All they do is cc you to capture then survive until the flag is locked then run away, but when i get map with out the capture and hold flag gamemode its fun time
I imagine it will be good on the high or low end, middle is pretty toxic. The duo queue aspect is what chased me away, the advantage they give is taken from the other healers rather than dps so if you want to be competitive as a healer you have to duo queue. Why are they trying to force duo queue on me? Is it just for carries? Regular BGs have gotten better, epics are trash still due to the rampant cheating Blizzard refuses to fix. There's a reason they keep the pvp developer's identity secret.
