Outside of Mexico itself, TX and Cali has THE best Mexican food. FL has Cuban, Haitian and Jamaican food. Best food in FL you’ll find is in Orlando. Chefs are showing their skills for the tourist. Otherwise find the food trucks, some are on point.
(South) Florida has plenty of great Mexican food , just stop going to the touristy areas for it cause its always mediocre and overpriced. Stay away from the coasts and look for a taqueria or a local Mexican food mart , they'll always have some fire tacos at a better price. or somewhere that has alot of Mexican people living
