She basically requires Eironn for the initial Alpha Strike of damage, with her linked to Thoran for protection. I found using Scarlita can protect her additionally sometimes and provide the eventual clean up for things that survive the combo. Carolina is definitely the safer option, though Carolina comp can lose to this quite often since the burst comes faster for Asla. But its mostly an RNG wash.
Excoundrel stonks on the rise, I'm trying to figure out her end game viability and its looking very low, I managed to make her work on very specific abyss stages where...there were already walls and I could lock a lot of the units into a corner but otherwise she gets absolutely cracked the moment she ults. She just doesnt have the warrior/tank stats to jump in like that, I was hoping the passive would work better but the 7 seconds would need to turn to 2 seconds for it to be viable

So she's not an upgrade in the Eironn comp because of her faction. Would she maybe work in a Mauler comp? Because if she doesn't, then she might end up in the same situation as Lyca, a solid unit without a home. I was planning on holding off on her for the time being because I have several S tiers that are 1-2 copies away from S+ including Eironn, Temesia and Shakir. Not to mention that 12% reduction on A tiers for Rate up banners.
Carolina does more damage and on top of that you lose the factional bonus since the meta team uses 3 Wilder and Thoran, and she just dies all the time. Carolina is much better.
@@Windsouls All things being equal I agree; for f2p players or light spenders who didn't have Carolina on their wishlist till finishing Ceci it's gonna be ages before we have Carolina built. Most players are in this position and wouldn't have put her on the wishlist until recently. She may be worse but building her makes a lot more sense. I can't even imagine how long till I get another 4 copies of Carolina, meanwhile as the rateup character I am guaranteed to get ahead of the curve with Alsa
@@obender13 do you have Thoran, Eironn, Smokey etc all at S+? because you're gonna be way below the ''curve'' as f2p if you spend all your crystals in rate up banner, you should only pull in normal banner as f2p since you need a lot of characters at S+ for endgame and be patient. If the rate up had a game breaking op carry unit you can consider it, but Alsa is most certainly not the case. On top of that i have S+ Cecia and S Carolina as light spender, it doesn't take ages. And tbh you shouldn't even care about the ''curve'' as f2p.
Vala shaped the PvP meta. She destroys most comps that doesn't run back line tanks. Apart from that she only really shines vs primal lord at 50% HP because she deals permanent true DMG there.
I generally keep hero's in the wish list that I can't buy from the shop. So, I would move grandma out since you can get 2 copies a month from the shop. Might take a little longer to max her out this way but its free and you can focus on other units in your list. But if you don't really like forabele or plan on using her then keep your list the way it is.
The problem with Florabelle is that she doesnt have a great teammate yet who fully utilizes her advantages while Granny is already second best tank in the game.
it's going to be a dead copy for a long time especially if you're F2P. The only way they get a use is when the Paragon system is unlocked after you get 25 heroes to supreme+ but that's for whales. You won't be able to make use of that extra copy for a very long time otherwise.

Yeah completely agree, she's a fun character but honestly when she goes melee it's over most of the timen

yeah I think she has a home in a mauler comp especially with Satrana's seasonal skill (which is very good)
What is Satranas seasonal skill? I started building her on a whim because she's a favorite of mine, she's at L+ right now.

Carolina is much harder to build; if they are comparable in role/function then being a rate up gives Alsa an advantage
