    Great little signals to make. Using the Clear Resin UV Cure glue makes fitting the LEDs so much simpler.

    Smart and this design of signal is fine for BR steam or later era. Glad you mentioned light bleed, if you are new to lighting models you must take it into consideration from the start of your project. As a matter of interest I have heard a railwayman refer to this type of signal as cats eyes. Good production, like the look of your den!

    Quick point, if you're using 2x1.5v batteries to run the signal, you won't need a resister. If you're using a 12v DC feed, then a 1k resister will be sufficient.

      Yeah the 1K resistor is for when I was using a to colour LED… If you look at the schematic you’ll see I wrote that in the notes :-) but thanks so much for notifying me 😊🙏🏽

    Nice one could you make RETB Signals?

    • @RustyRailsModelling

      I can look in to it for sure

      @RustyRailsModelling OK thanks I'm planning on building a layout and i want it to have RETB signals

    Are you planning a limit of shunt model? Just the two lower red lights, need a few 👀

      I could do you a couple of custom hood moulds if that’s all that needs changing… It might take me a couple of days just because I have a few projects going on

      @@RustyRailsModelling that would be amazing! I’m just sticking a order on ebay now, i’ll leave a note on there for you?

      convert one. All an LOS board is, is a GPL signal with the top lens blanked.

    Now I need a reason to incorporate these signals so I can order them 😁
    Great tutorial! What was the “big camera” you featured btw? Thanks!

    • @RustyRailsModelling
      @RustyRailsModelling  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Haha they’re great signals !
      The big camera is a “Blackmagic pocket cinema camera 4K” (Bmpcc4k) 😊

    • @Rheilffordd
      @Rheilffordd 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I thought it was the BMPCC! I have used them as well and they are a ripper of a unit for video!
      You must also be the first model railway TH-camr to use one for their videos! 🤣

    Hmm, sorry but the (now very) old Eckon version has the edge on you.
    No light bleed and show the correct aspect and really easy to construct (for about £13).
    Not a bad first attempt but needs work.
    I'd reccomend you read up on signalling practices and operation.

      The signals shells are a pack of 6 and the Leds really don’t cost much if you don’t choose Uk seller..

      @@RustyRailsModelling ok.
      Bit of a wait getting some bits from China but I suppose if there is no rush to build them it's not a problem.
