Hello Kitty originated from Japan in 1975, and the first time I saw it was during my elementary years in the early '70s. Nice to know that it is still popular today.
Wow, that was an amazing place. There not that many seven elevens with Hello Kitty theme globally. Things would be nice to see a Hello Kitty themed seven eleven in the United States. We started collecting Hello Kitty merchandise (pens & stuffed animals) lately hence we saw a few Hello Kitty episodes.
Are you residing in the US? Hopefully you can visit one of their stores when you travel to Asia. 😊 You can also find other Hello Kitty merchandise in Taiwan since Hello Kitty seems pretty popular there. 🥰
Wow.... I never knew there were 7/11 themed stores. I am actually stunned but South East Asia has really surprised me with regards to 7/11s. They seem so much better and superior to what we have in the West unless somebody wants to correct me. To us, it is just an average late-night or a 24-hour convenience store and that is it.
Hi, John. Actually, 7/11 here in the Philippines are just the standard ones too. I'm amazed with the other countries' version of 7/11, not to mention the variety of food and non-food choices. 😊
May I ask, is this the best 7/11 that you have ever been in? And does the Philippines have any themed 7/11 stores as this would be a great success in Makati or BGC? Hi, John. In terms of design, I can say this is the best 7/11 we've been to. For variety and price point, Bangkok still has my vote. Unfortunately, we don't have themed 7/11 in the Philippines. Not sure if the demand for that is low here, that's why.
