In cs everyone has access to the same weapons for the most part except for m4 to ak and aug to sg. But in terms of utility everyone has the same thing. Smokes, flashes, nades, Molly, and decoy. From a coding standpoint, I gotta say Valorant is better, at least from a dev's perspective. CS def has nostalgia points but I'm talking from a technical side. With around half the size of CS, Riot Games managed to produce a game that can compete on par with CS, that is at least 10gb of stuff gone. Less assets, and more visually appealing to more people. Sure, it is cartoonish and more geared towards younger kids, but if I was a developer I would want more people to play my game. Having characters make it easier for players to get more invested into the game. Many of the most played games use unreal engine with cartoony graphics because it appeals to more people. In only 1 or 2 years, Valorant is already competing with the top shooter games, while CS struggled up there, but that's partially because they were pioneers. Riot Games just knows how to appeal their games to more people. Just take a look at LOL. If I were to create a shooter game, I would opt for something more similar to valorant than CS.

CSGO is more realistic then valorant with all the recoils and stuff like shooting through cardboard walls which definitely is closer to real life. Valorant is like a kids game

In my opinion, both CSGO and Valorant are not realistic at all. No real SWAT use guns with anime or pro player stickers on it. These 2 games have different concepts, one is with SWAT and Terrorist (CSGO), the other is fantasy with ability power (Valorant).
And my first comment is to reply to the original commentor, who said that CSGO is "realistic" and Valorant is "a kid game" because its concept is fantasy, which is a stupid and ridiculous statement.

I like valorant but its gunplay is just too basic, idk what it is. The game just feel less competitive, when you're dead and spectating, it's not really hyping you up, you just kinda ignored your players trying to win. But in csgo, the game just feel more competitive and intense, so like you would actually spectate your teammates trying to win rounds. Idk why is it, it has a very weird effect
Voice chat has to with the people in your game
And if you want good people in your game you gotta be nice to others so you get commendations and get in too good games
