This visit is one Rose's parents will not forget in a hurry! Rose and her husband have been so productive since they arrived. From buying cooking items for her mum, to helping with farming, planting, harvesting and feeding the animals to building a stove! It's been non stop. You and your husband are so versatile and used to hard work, you are constantly on the go. Your husband is also well vast in DIY, you are so fortunate Rose. God continue to bless you and your family 🙏🏾🙏🏽

I’m as happy as Rose is……this is a huge relieve on squatting and bending to set up the fire before cooking. Thanks to everyone that participated in building the stove..much love to your Family Rose ❤

Squatting and bending is part of exercise no gyms and lazing as you can see no mid round sections aka bellies. Actually squatting they say is a full body workout. Good knees, no back pains unless otherwise.

Rose, you and Wu are the best! I am in love with the way you two set the example for Anzai of how children should love respect and stand by elderly parents and your fellowman. So good of you to take into consideration the height of people who will be cooking on the stove. With very limited resources you created an amazing stove. I can see your mum cooking soulfood for her family. And with her health not being the best, it will help a lot with her not being subjected to harsh elements in order to put a cooked meal on the table.
Anzai is a real reincarnate of his parents so hardworking I love the fact that he fitted in so well in rural African village life

Why are you assuming others in the village don't already have stoves? If they didn't, how would those workmen know how to build one? smh

@@scribe712 I’m not assuming anything. You need to relax . A lot of TH-camrs from uganda don’t have that stove. Same as Rose’s family.
Yes but your comments imply that this is a new concept in the Village that others can learn from. Most that don’t have these types of stoves or the regular gas/electric stove is more of a financial issue not knowledge and unawareness. As someone mentioned, how did the 2 craftsmen know how to do it. It definitely wasn’t Rose or her husband. Be aware of unconscious bias. You probably meant well. That’s all.
Rose, Wu Jianyun and Anzai worked together to make the stove for grandma, they should also make a stand to wash clothes because that bending over to the ground is a killer for all who washes clothes that way. Thanks Rose, Wu Jianyun and Anzai for your commitment to improve your family and community lives. ¡You are awsome!

I'm so happy watching these videos. Please revisit Africa again...and keep Anzai in touch with his African roots. It would be nice if he could learn the African language too. This is the ally that Africa needs to partner with.
This is a good project for Africa and other rural areas in Africa the money that the missionaries are raising has not done what Rosemary's Wu and Anzai have done in years they have rob them behind there's back when they should have been doing what Rosemary's and her husband Wu are doing make their life easier instead of material things
We take something like a stove for granted but this stove that Wu, Rose, the two craftsmen just made Rose's family cooking meals a lot easier by not having to bend over cooking for each meal in the future. They can cook in there rain or shine. I'm even happy for Rose's family to have this new stove.
We need to start a fundraiser for these families to purchase materials and power tools, for the basic essentials and needs of everyday life!!
He is using a hand saw to cut through metal and bricks, this is extremely difficult and together as the viewer's, I'm sure we can all donate a few dollars each to make their lives a bit easier!! ❤️

Why are you assuming they would even want power tools? Not everyone in that country probably has electricity or the means to pay for it. My husband helps build airplanes but still owns a lot of hand tools that don't require electricity. For some jobs, non electric tools are actually preferred.
Buying them power tools is fine assuming they want them. But who is going to pay for the electricity required to use them on a regular basis?
@@scribe712 times are definitely changing! I bet they all own a mobile phone which they have to buy credit for.
As an example, I couldn’t believe that some of the remotest parts of Jamaica - deep in the woods where there were only pit toilets 30 years ago, and where a shower was outside in the open from a wash basin in the dark, would ever get electricity let alone phones! NOW they all have…wait for it…washing machines, flushable toilets, garbage bin collection, hot water powered by solar panels and all mod cons! The roads are still desperately terrible going there but their lives have drastically improved.;Kids don’t walk 5 miles to school any more and carry buckets of water on their heads, they get to play and grow instead of endless chores!
Poverty is not a choice anyone would choose. No one would reject improvement to their standard of life, it’s not about culture it’s about convenience and looking after their health. The person here offering to help is compassionate as we all should be. I don’t see someone breaking their back to survive as “living the humble life” as a lot of people put in the comments. It’s not humility it’s extreme poverty that non of us would want to live with . Given the choice they would not choose poverty, they need help and support.
