Ruby you know the first rule of slot play, always bet the max bet
The slot shifts depending on the direction of the diamond. If it points up it moves up only if it is below the pay or if diamond points down while above pay line
It only moves in the direction of the diamonds point
On the double diamond they shift depending on the point of the diamond in relation to the win line. So if there is a diamond above the win line pointing down then it will move, if its pointing up then it won't and the same for under the payline (but with the diamond pointing up). Yeah. It’s odd to me that they don’t seem to understand how most slots work. Still like the videos though.
The diamonds move in the direction of the diamond points ONLY if it is one space above the pay line (or below it, depending on the direction of the point).

I swear by those simple slots. All my really good hits have come from the $1 per credit old school style machines. I can’t stand how the newer video slot machines make a big song and dance when two bonus symbols appear and then the third one doesn’t land. Better luck on your next session Ruby!

I think we need one more comment which says the diamond only shifts toward the center line if it is pointed that direction. Mr. Ruby even figured it out (maybe?) at 6:28

If the diamonds point up and they are on the bottom row, they will move up 1. And same for down facing diamonds on the top row, they will move down. Good luck!

The pointed end of the diamond determines where it moves up or down. If it is already on a line, it will not move.
It only if shifts if the diamond is pointing toward the pay line
The diamonds move in the direction they are pointing. So not 100% random.

Regarding the diamond movements as described in previous comments, they are called 'nudges''
Double Diamond is not random. If the arrow is pointed down above the line, it moves down. If it’s pointed up below the line it moves up.
Diamond has to point towards a payline to shift

The double Diamond symbol does not move up or down. Where it lands is where it stays.

Most good hits happens the first few pulls. I'm a fisherman for slots guy. 5 pulls Max bet n move on if no hit. In this way, you can play more machines. It's the law of average right? The more machines you play, the better chance for you to hit something. Your mistake is being pot committed. It makes no sense to wager $300 of that ticket in hoping to catch a bonus symbol that'll pay you back your $300. You risk big for even? Logic don't make sense thus why I pulled little times and moving myself along. The goal is to win for yourself. Giving us viewers a show is optional.
