My dad was a truck driver. He was rarely home. I remember how hard that was. Sleep paralysis is terrifying. Had that happen to me once.
I had sleep paralysis once after working an 18 hour shift. When I got off, on my way home and at a stop light, I accidentally bumped the driver in front of me. No one was hurt, but it scared me.
Sleep paralysis is something non believers use to excuse actual demon attacks. I’m not saying some sleep paralysis doesn’t exist but you must be able to identify the difference. For one, with sleep paralysis, that would require you to actually be asleep! My three attacks, Ivwascwide awake, in bed but had not gone to sleep yet. My last one was so terrifying that I refuse to be in the dark ever since and that one was about four years ago. I even drive with one of the lights on in my car at night. Also the three times it happened to me or all times that I was spending a lot of time studying the Bible and all of the historical facts that prove, the Bible true. I was very active in sharing the knowledge that I have learned and talking to people about Jesus. The devil apparently was not happy with that & came to get in my face. In my 55 years, ONLY during those times was I attacked. Seems like quite a coincidence if you ask me.! Anyway, there’s a lot I could tell you but way too much for a TH-cam comment
can totally relate to being wide awake but trapped. I had it 3 times at 19yrs old. First 2 times I was unable to move and lay petrified as something child like and evil bounced around the bottom of my bed. Still feel the fear. Third time I mastered breaking free. Long time ago now thankfully.

Thats a tough job for many..esp with a family back home...its one of many jobs that are important yet unappreciated.
My whole family are truck drivers from parlier. Yes my dad did miss some things but he also gave me the work ethic I have. If I was a boy I’m sure I’d be a truck driver.
I remember one time I was tired and just wanted to get home. My last pickup was about 30 minutes from the yard, so backed up, heard what sound like the 5th latching, did a quick tug test and it all seemed fine. When I got out, I looked and everything seemed copesetic if a little high. As I was raising the landing gear my mind told me, just do another tug. Got in, put the truck in gear, pressed on the accelerator and heard a very loud, "ker klunk." Yeah, turns out I was not latched so the trailer fell about two inches and got caught by the landing gear. Glad I did that second test.
You missed your sons first day of school? I understand. As a Veteran, I missed the births of all three of my kids, and in 10 years was only at 2 birthdays, missed my oldest's wedding to give her away, etc. You're a truck driver. You keep this country rolling! You guys are awesome! Without you guys, grocery stores would be empty, Fuel stations empty, etc.......Keep ya head up, and roll on! Respect!
I hope you aren’t missing things anymore. I don’t even like my husband missing dinner with the kids because to them that means something.

I was doing an Uber eats delivery. I deliver to somebody’s house on Salems lot street. What was weird was when I came up to the front door. The dog started barking, but they were barking at the back of the house when I was in the front that was pretty scary.

Hey Alex, look at my profile picture I took this morning! My 1968 Dodge Charger has received it's orange paint job and later today will actually make it's first jump across the creek (12 feet wide) for my very first trucking video. Heck the paint job cost me almost $8,000 after they got the dents out due to the tornado damage eo the total was over $10,000 for a car I paid $800 for back in !989. We just unloaded it off my flatbed trailer.

Yeasterday a coworker was in Indiana. A guy was with his mother stop. The car jumped out and he hit him. You know a full load in the semi you can’t stop on a dime and the guy committed suicide. They did a full DOT inspection looking for anything to try to pin this on him even though the family said that he was suicidal, it’s messed up as a trucker but you saying you seen a ghost run across you seen somebody run across and nobody was there you never know maybe that’s where somebody ended it and they’re lost. I hope that Jesus brings that person home but as a trucker, we are the second most heaviest thing to stop on a dime. The first is a train so people out there that want to cut semi‘s off and hit the brakes. I understand that you do that it could be your Life, we can’t stop on a dime we’re heavy evening for unloaded and we’re light. We can’t stop like a car does no one understands this process truckers we bring everything you need to eat sleep have fun with take your kids to an amusement park guess what parts don’t get there by just a flick of a finger it’s truckers in trains so next time.cut off a truck just remember

Been a truck driver for about 2 years now. Definitely got lonely and depressed frequently. Had to switch to a local gig out of Houston to keep myself sane 😂 love the videos man, keep working hard. Your work ethic and attitude about your job and situation is something to be proud of.

There's a place in Virginia right off route 95 it's called Dead Man's Bluff, there's a long history of this car that went off the hill with a young woman who died in the crash. People report seeing this woman that runs out in front of them, but as you pass you can see right through her! I was going down the road with one of my drivers and we both saw her. I got on the cb and asked him if he saw her? He said yes about a mile down the road we saw a cop and told him, he told us the legend. I decided to pull the video from both trucks and there was a creepy shadow thing. That was almost a year ago, and thinking back still gives me an uneasy feeling of despair. Alex, do you believe in ghosts, I do and so does my driver after that night.

My uncle used to love his job and had lots of tales, he had a story about a girl that knocked on his door, it sounded like a girl.. he opened the door and nobody was there.
He said he never used to speed except for that day on his way back..
He loved the road so much that he actually ended up dying in his pick up.. thanks to a drunk driver

Spirits are real , my grandma on my mom side she died when my mom was 16 and i never met her and when i was about 4 i saw my grandma at the front door and she waved at me and a hr later my mom got books of photos and i point my grandma out and my mom couldn’t believe it and she tells me this all the time ❤️

You are the reason I'm trying to get my CDL. I always wanted to do truck driving since I was 9 or 10 (14 or 15 years ago). I didn't want to at first only because it's a long process for me to get it due to medical issues. I asked my doctor if I'm able to get it and he said he doesn't see why not. Hopefully the doctors who do the DOT medical exams would allow me.
