God, I miss Boze being on Smosh especially on Smosh Games and Pit. Boze was VERY competitive as to the games and took everything way too seriously to the point that it was funny. I remember she had a streak of rage quitting. Smosh Games is still fine but she brought a different kind of energy when she was there. in an interview with David So, she explained the business-aspect of why she considered leaving Smosh but I think it was Matt Raub who pushed her out. If Matt wasn't toxic to her, she may have stayed a little bit longer with them. at that time before leaving, she was still weighing her options but it was Matt who was the catalyst that forced her early departure
if anyone is curious about what boze does now, she streams on twitch and uploads to youtube on her own channel. she does true crime, she brings a lot of passion to the genre i feel tends to be missing. one of my favorite true crime creators, she’s awesome :)
i havent been able to watch smosh without boze, i loved smosh games when boze, damien, joven, and wes did videos together so ive been re-watching those :(
Seeing this many interactions between them back then and now knowing Damien never considered Boze a friend, but just a costar is wild to me. What a piece of shit.
I don't know where this is taken from (or if it's true) but people can be chill and nice and have fun and not be friends. I think it is also semantics. Some people only view it as friends if you hang out outside of work. Otherwise you're just a coworker you like a lot. Nothing wrong with that?
1.) She wanted to do her own thing. 2.) She felt everyone was much more deserving with their talents (she had an interview with another TH-camr about her leave that explains this). 3.) She didn't have a great working relationship with Matt Raub (Sohinki mentioned once that he didn't have a great relationship with Matt Raub either, which is why he left Smosh).
@@yb6038 Every time he mentions a "Certain Smosh executive" not liking him is always Matt. He is a huge piece of shit. He ven tried to take credit for Board AF, which was Joven's idea, which led to some behind the scenes stuff and they're not friends anymore. It is worth mentioning that they were best friends, Matt was even his best man at his wedding.
