Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid's daugher, Maryam, married an Abu Dhabi royal family member.
The rulers of the Emirates gathered in Dubai to celebrate the marriage of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid's daughter to a member of Abu Dhabi's royal family.
The Vice President and Ruler of Dubai welcomed the leaders for a reception to celebrate the union of Sheikha Maryam bint Mohammed to Khalid bin Mohammed bin Hamdan Al Nahyan.
A dancing troupe performed the ayala while Emrati music played.
The pair’s engagement was first announced on social media on August 24, 2018. The couple signed their marriage contract about a week ago but the men's reception was held at Dubai World Trade Centre at the weekend. Sheikh Khalid is a member of the Abu Dhabi royal family. He graduated from British Royal Academy Sandhurst in the UK and was awarded the Major General Diwan Misri Chand Platoon Award for demonstrating outstanding innovation and purpose during the training course.

دبي في 28 سبتمبر/ وام / حضر صاحب السمو الشيخ محمد بن راشد آل مكتوم نائب رئيس الدولة رئيس مجلس الوزراء حاكم دبي "رعاه الله" وصاحب السمو الشيخ حميد بن راشد النعيمي عضو المجلس الأعلى حاكم عجمان وصاحب السمو الشيخ حمد بن محمد الشرقي عضو المجلس الأعلى حاكم الفجيرة وصاحب السمو الشيخ سعود بن راشد المعلا عضو المجلس الأعلى حاكم أم القيوين وصاحب السمو الشيخ سعود بن صقر القاسمي عضو المجلس الأعلى حاكم رأس الخيمة، حفل الاستقبال الذي أقيم في مركز دبي التجاري العالمي بمناسبة زفاف الشيخ خالد بن محمد بن حمدان آل نهيان، إلى كريمة صاحب السمو الشيخ محمد راشد آل مكتوم.
حضر الحفل سمو الشيخ حمدان بن محمد بن راشد آل مكتوم ولي عهد دبي وسمو الشيخ حمدان بن راشد آل مكتوم نائب حاكم دبي وزير المالية وسمو الشيخ مكتوم بن محمد بن راشد آل مكتوم نائب حاكم دبي وسمو الشيخ سلطان بن محمد بن سلطان القاسمي ولي عهد ونائب حاكم الشارقة وسمو الشيخ عبدالله بن سالم بن سلطان القاسمي نائب حاكم الشارقة وسمو الشيخ راشد بن سعود بن راشد المعلا ولي عهد أم القيوين وسمو الشيخ محمد بن سعود بن صقر القاسمي ولي عهد رأس الخيمة.
كما حضر الحفل سمو الشيخ سعيد بن زايد آل نهيان ممثل حاكم أبوظبي والفريق سمو الشيخ سيف بن زايد آل نهيان نائب رئيس مجلس الوزراء وزير الداخلية وسمو الشيخ منصور بن زايد آل نهيان نائب رئيس مجلس الوزراء وزير شؤون الرئاسة وسمو الشيخ حامد بن زايد آل نهيان رئيس ديوان ولي عهد أبوظبي، وسمو الشيخ خالد بن محمد بن زايد آل نهيان، عضو المجلس التنفيذي لإمارة أبوظبي رئيس اللجنة التنفيذية، وسمو الشيخ ذياب بن محمد بن زايد آل نهيان رئيس دائرة النقل في أبوظبي، وسمو الشيخ أحمد بن سعيد آل مكتوم رئيس هيئة دبي للطيران الرئيس الأعلى لمجموعة طيران الإمارات، وسمو الشيخ حشر بن مكتوم آل مكتوم، مدير عام دائرة الإعلام بدبي، والشيخ بطي بن مكتوم بن جمعة آل مكتوم، وسمو الشيخ أحمد بن محمد بن راشد آل مكتوم، رئيس مؤسسة "محمد بن راشد آل مكتوم للمعرفة"، وسمو الشيخ منصور بن محمد بن راشد آل مكتوم، وسمو الشيخ سعيد بن محمد بن راشد آل مكتوم، ومعالي الشيخ نهيان بن مبارك آل نهيان وزير التسامح، وعدد من الشيوخ وكبار المسؤولين في الدولة.
