That workbench ore scanner is crap. It just helps you locate the ore deposits without allowing you to define the type. So not much more use than Icarus Intel.
You cannot select the type of ore that you want to search for ? Wow, useless in that case. Thanks for telling me, at least I won't use a blueprint point on that one. Thanks for the tip @vikingbrit270.
