    Can you please tell me ow to link generalization in use case description?

  • @2002budokan
    @2002budokan 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    I don't think that we need to add "extends" and "includes" relationships into the specification in textual format. These relations are already documented in use case diagrams why would you clutter the specification with additional text?
    When you write a document you should consider who is the reader and how he will read it. Obviously the reader starts to read the UML diagrams first. And he will see that there is a "extends" or "includes" relationship. And then he will find your specification and read it already knowing it "extends" something or it "includes" something.

    I think it was confusing when you switched the base use case to the extended use case and vice versa. Anyway, I learned a lot. Thanks

    Another question can I include the "included" and "extended" use case in the Alternate Sequence of the Base Case?

    • @ltlacademy6129
      @ltlacademy6129  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      There are no reasons why they cannot be used as you asked.

    I have a question is Included Use Case is same as Dependency?

    • @ltlacademy6129
      @ltlacademy6129  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Well you can think of it like that. Include use case are a set of common business functionalities which can be used (hence included) in many other business processes

      Hi, user stories are used in the context of Agile. It does not have main Nor alternate flows and you basically write a short description of the feature or function or build. There are not standard format for writing user stories but there are guidelines.
