Largest Siberian tiger ever recorded was 1,025...but that was also in captivity where they grow larger because they are constantly fed

I think it's so they won't harm each other when they play. Another video of other tigers showed the female had deep gash marks on her body from playing with the male tiger. It's okay to declaw them as long as they stay in captivity.

She did declaw tigers? Is he insane? Any cat can't normally move without claws, except can't be released in the wild!!! If I well understood and it's true she should be punished. The best would be - on the basis of JUDGMENT OF THE COURT - to put her into the cage of tigers, they even without claws would do successfully what she deserved! IN SUCH A CASE HER CHANNEL SHOULD BE BANNED !

    • @anthonywhitson4910
      @anthonywhitson4910 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

IIIJFRIII that's right cause what if they want to climb something but can't because they have no claws. and plus it's been proven that being declared feels like having a finger torn off. and plus when they do that they're prone to getting infected. but still they need those claws. and house cats need em too especially because if they ever slip out they need those to defend themselves

If you are talking about the largest cat in wild...then it is the Bengal Tiger.
Siberian Tigers used to be the largest about 50 years ago...the avergae weight of wild Siberian Tigers used to be around 216 kgs during 1960-70s.
Unfortunately due to poaching & loss of habitat the average weight of modern wild Siberian Tigers have come down to 177 kgs.
The Caspian Tiger used to be the 2nd largest Tiger sub species...but unfortunately they are extinct now.
Which left us to the Bengal Tiger...the average weight of modern wild Bengal Tigers is 196 kgs.
But the size of Bengal Tigers use to fluctuate heavily depending on sub populations...the Bengal Tigers from the Mangroove forests of Sundarbans use to weigh significantly less...if you exclude them then the average weight of modern wild Bengal Tigers strikes at 208 kgs...significantly more than the gross average of 196 kgs.
The Bengal Tigers from Northern Regions of India are usually heavier than their brothers from Middle India...Bengal Tigers from Northern India consistently go over 220 kgs & strikes an average of 221 kgs...that's around 500 lbs.
So the heaviest wild Tigers (as well as the largest wild big cats) of modern day are the Bengal Tigers of Northern India.
However if you are talking about capacity...then yes, the Siberian Tigers still outgrow the Bengal Tigers...because in captivity a Siberian Tiger gets all the food supply & protection it needs to become a giant.

Actually, the average weights of wild males, as calculated by guys like Raúl and Smuts, was 176.4 kg (388.9 lbs) for the Amur tiger, 196 kg (432.1 lbs) for the Bengal tiger, 174.9 kg (385.6 lbs) for the East African lion, and 187.5-193.3 kg (413.4-426.2 lbs) for the Southern African lion, which would mean that on average in the wild, a male Siberian tiger weighs about the same as a male East African lion, but less than a male Bengal tiger and Southern African lion, and as for exceptional weights in the wild, sure, we have exceptional records of over 300 kg (660 lbs) for Bengal and Siberian tigers, but the same goes for Eastern and Southern African lions, at least, and as for captive lions and tigers, though there was an obese Amur tiger which was recorded at 1,025 pounds, we also have records of lions weighing about 1,000 pounds, which can mean anywhere between 950 and 1,050 pounds, and if you mix a male lion with a tigress, then you can get a cat that's bigger than both lions and tigers, that is the liger.

You did show me a great knowledge of tiger spicies. I totally agree with you that the Bengal tiger is the biggest cat in the world. However, the fact that the size of all wild tiger species has been getting smaller and smaller since the last 4 decades might come from their habitat loss. The tiger populations have decreased dramatically then they have bred each other in the same family. The brother had sex with his own sister and then they have developed the smaller size tigers in many parts of the world to get born. This is my opinion which might be wrong. What you think?

Cowards do this, almost a rule in circusses - they forget that the power of tigers paws even declowed is so big that 1 hit can easily kill a man!. Such declawed big cats 1) can't move, especially run normally 2) can't be relesead in the wild 3) declawed tigers can't climb a tree etc. etc. Kevin Richardson has been attacked by declawed lion from circuss - he described the consequences of declawing for the lion - he had problem with normal moving especially running - in his book that I had the pleasure to read.

I'm guessing declawing might be so the employees don't get injured when feeding the cats or having a check up from a animal doctor.with poachers killing these beautiful cats, this might be a way of protecting them so that they can repopulate.

    • @Khatushayamkijai

You're stupid and dumb. Poachers and these dumb people makes no difference. Both works for Money and poachers sell their skins and bones to the same govt organizations and medicinal products so they can generate $$$$ in any way possible. Should you be blind like everybody else that doesn't know how to use that small brain of yours and get educated enough about wildlife and all the other things should you say things like that. Declawing so they wouldn't harm ? Humans are responsible for so many crimes to nature wildlife oceans you wouldn't even wanna talk about cuz small brains don't wanna think but follow the majority views. Such is the cowardice should you feel proud. Awesome.

Hello from rural New Hampshire. Not to be evil or disrespectful but declawing is mutalation. Cats walk forward on their toes and once declawed forces them to walk unnaturally, leading to spine and back problems later in life, sometimes significantly shortening their life. Plus the pain of the procedure, imagine cutting off the last joint of your fingers and toes. Peace

Tigers dont carry more fat, you dumbass. Tigers are more muscular, stocky animals. When tigers gain fat during the winter, they gain more weight, but are still more muscular. Keep on lying to yourself.

Average siberian is 600pounds, but there are a few around 1000pounds which is totaly fucking amazing. Still polarbears and grizzleys can weight up to 1600 pounds and more

+Phan tom Bengal tigers are the biggest cats now. Siberian Tigers used to be big, before 1970. But the human intervention of killing all the largest male siberian tigers and due to food and living space became more difficult, they evolved to be a bit smaller and lighter.

Look at the fuckin statistics. All that bs about bengals being bigger than siberians was just a roumer spread by lion fans. And yes average siberian males are about 650 lbs. some are higher some are lower

Wikipedia: " A tigress may have a territory of 20 km2 (7.7 sq mi), while the territories of males are much larger, covering 60 to 100 km2 (23 to 39 sq mi)" so let's compare the territory tigers should have in the wild with the area of this pathetic garden... Pathetic. It's primitive business driving poaching, hunting simply - killing mother with cubs you get several cubs for trade on black market, ultimately you don't believe that Syberian tigers live in the US? :) PECUNIA NON OLET....Bastards
